Playing the changes has gotten so much better with this app.Love it!

    Excellent app, but...
Love this one as well as the other two. Please update as you have with 2 and 3 as it crashes and my songs are stuck in the app. Keep on making stellar sounds! Update: months ago there was an update. But soon after, all three Sessions apps crashed before I could even load them. Help please. I would love to access my tunes... Fixed! The problem with 2 and 3 was that iPad was on zoom in display and I couldn’t see the whole dashboard. Thanks! Show more

    Great Jazz feel.
I d like a stop button, with fade out. And several cue points, would be very nice. Thank you. Heaven apps.

    Fantastic!
This is like a cross between iReal Pro and Band in a Box with real tracks. I love the sound of BiaB with real tracks but it isn't convenient to have the computer all of the time. This fills in the gap and gives me the better sound quality I'm missing from iReal. Show more

    Great sounds, limited functionality
I purchased volumes 1,2 and 3 thinking that this app would be an improvement over the iReal Pro app in terms of play along sound quality. As far as sound goes, this app is excellent, however, it's missing some very fundamental cords and can't perform slash-cords either. This app has great potential but needs some updates. Show more

    Nice app but ...
Does not interface correctly with audio bus... Can't consistently get output to DAW...

    Fun app but.........
The SessionBand apps are a lot of fun, unfortunately the don't work with Audiobus as advertised.

    Fantastic songwriting inspiration!
I think I have all the SessionBand apps, and I love them. As a songwriter, I find that these apps and the many included demo songs are a fantastic inspiration for new songs. I've probably got 20 fragments of in-work songs (mostly needing lyrics which is not this app's fault!). I've finished 2 or 3 and it gives me a fresh approach compared to writing on guitar, keys, etc. Something like Band-in-a-Box with RealTracks which I use on PC but better for writing on long airplane flights. Aside from that, the musical and technical quality of the recorded sample are quite good, and the UI and workflow are quite well thought out. Jazz Vol. 2 is better than Vol. 1 for me as i like the variety of styles. My only complaint is that I wish there were an easy way to export each individual instrument for AudioCopy to GarageBand. Maybe there is but I haven't figured it out so I have to solo each track, monitor the automation on the mixer screen, save, export, repeat. Not the worst thing but feels kludgey. This one also supports Audiobus but I prefer copy paste unless I'm overdubbing a part, as when using a synth app to play a part in GB. GREAT JOB! Make more! Show more

    Great jazz.
Super app. The first version of this app was perfect and now I had to get the v2. This version adds more tracks and allows you to record unlicensed music right to your tablet. If you love jazz you'll love this!! Show more

    Background track success
I was using volume one of this app to produce background tracks for my short films. I've had tremendous success using it and I was excited to see this new version come out with more styles of jazz to choose from. Overall, very happy with the results this app produces. The fact that there are videos that go over the styles and demonstrate what it means to create a professional sounding track make the process that much easier. Definitely a quality app and will continue to use it. Show more

Excellent app for musicians of all abilities
Just like its predecessor, Jazz 2 is packed with high quality loops in a wide variety of styles. Having some knowledge of music theory is definitely helpful, but not an absolute requirement. Show more
