    Excellent
I can’t stop exploring all the great features of this app. Every time I wonder if a particular feature might be implemented, I find that it not only there, but it exceeds my expectations. I liked the app so much that I purchased the other two apps by this developer. Show more

    Best step sequencer
Easy to use, stable, fast to program; use it to control your other iPad synths and drum machines. Visually, you can be looking at up to four different MIDI outputs simultaneously on one screen interface, which can be very helpful: bass, drums, keys x 2 for example. Also good for real-time tweaking of sequences on the fly. 32-steps, you can choose seq. length, so odd time signatures like 9/8 are no problem, which is a BIG plus. Internal synth is actually pretty good too. Velocity programming is a breeze, would love to see that extended to other modulation, filters or volume. This also has very robust generative features. Octave range?
For some reason you can’t move up/down octaves without transposing the entire song, which is a really odd, unintuitive, and creatively stifling design decision that I can’t get past. It’s a shame because there are some interesting features. Show more

    An update, yes ??
Just opened this app a few days ago after not using it for over a year. Forgot how crazy good and inspiring it is. Then today, saw an update. Hope for one day seeing it as auv3, but even without, it’s still a top app. Thanks for keeping it going dev. Show more

    Great! Add AUv3!
Immediately gratifying; would be 10x more useful with AUv3.

    Please add auv3 support
Super intuitive and elegant grid sequencer with game of life type randomization available - quickly make generative music that sounds good, with an evolving interactive visual component. One of my most used apps for generative music. Devs, please add Auv3 support! Show more

    19 steps
Could be good for loops if you could get the steps past 19. Not even with a stylus. Hard to even get it back to 16. Change it to a slider. Not sure why there should be odd numbers anyway. Fun to play with you don’t try to adjust anything. Lowered to 2 stars because the manual I finally found is no help. Edit: found that if you go into settings and change Knobs to linear you can get all 32 steps. Raised stars to 4, but now the tempo is 119.8 and I can’t get it to 120. Show more

    Unique!
Always a good addition to your synth library. If you need a step sequenced, try experimenting with this and make a beat. Hopefully it can add more steps to be a song sequencer. Show more

    A Sequencer for Artists
A gorgeous reimagining a piano roll sequencer. Immediately gratifying and very deep as well. Endlessly inspiring.

Great generative sequencer and decent synth
This is the best multi-track midi sequencer with generative capabilities that can work on an iPhone. And the internal synth engine is quite nice too. Very nice!

    Useful
I like it for working out ideas.

    MIDI source
I use this (or Troublemaker) for MIDI Input in AudioBus3. The randomly morphing patterns is a useful feature.

    Ableton Link
One of the very best, now with Ableton Link! Thank you! ?

    Fun generative app but unstable
The app consists of a matrix that is used as sequencer to play notes at different octaves at given scales. The notes can be sent to different midi channels that eventually can be routed to different synths or gears. It also includes an internal synth. The main issue that I am having with the app, is that the sound disappears after a present change and I eventually have to restart the app to have sound. This happens quite often with the internal synth sounds. Also midi routing doesn't work all the time. Furthermore, I don't find the app inspiring because of the workflow. The matrix is pre quantized and it seems unclear to me how to merge multiple boxes to obtain quarter notes or longer notes. I prefer the app ChordFlow in that regard. Hope it get fixed in the future and may be I will use this app to produce some music. Show more

    Whew!
I thought this was abandonware until I saw the developer respond to a comment last week- I bought it right away. Wonderful intuitive app, and a superb sequencer for the model 15! If Ableton link is coming. If you added chorus, pwm and noise this would be almost a Juno! Show more

    A class app
Pretty deep and provided something for everyone who takes the dive to explore this app. Very well done - thank you!

One of my top ten. So many possibilities
Very smooth and obvious workflow interface. Can make mellow drones or crazy randomized acid madness... the randomization is great because you can choose random or conways game of life. There are even two sets of rules for game of life setting. This developer seems great. Looking forward to more. Really fun and productive app for me. Show more

    Not a Toy!!
I saw that a reviewer stated that this app "is a toy for kids. Clearly this user doesn't understand the power that this app holds. It can sequence any other synth or drum app out there...that alone makes this app not a toy. I hope potential customers can see the power this app holds. It is a must own app on my devices. Show more

    Dope
This app is some dope noise. You need this in your life.
