    Wait a second - obsolete
Apple has already integrated Bluetooth over iOS - making this kind of obsolete (in my opinion). Sorry if that's not correct, but right now I'm wishing I didn't make the purchase so quickly (and that they hadn't jacked up the price from what it was before...) Show more

A winner from a family of winners
Another great app from SPD! It allows me to use my iPad and iPhone as an integrated system. This has greatly changed and improved my workflow. Thanks again for this!

    Broken
I have been using your product for months with major success. You just updated your app with keyboards and now the only thing that works is your new keyboards. All mid messages I send from any other apps are not transmitted. Please help. Show more

    It just works!
I love this! I use it with an iRig keys and iPhone to send Midi to my iPad which already has a Microphone plugged in.

    Complete waste of money
Save yourself and do not buy this piece of crap.

    Works exactly as advertised!
It's one of those rare situations where the thing does exactly what it says on the label. Perfect! This enables my workflow and never fails on me. For me it's critical, and performs just like I expect. Great app! Show more

    Fresh Air
I half expected I would need to blunder about trying to configure everything in order to have a hope of it working. Instead, I downloaded to iPad and iPhone, opened apollo on each, then opened a synth on the iPad and Lemur on the iPhone. All I had to do then was set Lemur to apollo and just like that I'm controlling my iPad synth with my iPhone Lemur "keyboard/LFO lab" template. MIDI learn worked just as it does when on the same device. Super! Show more

Still Relevant: Apollo Succeeds where Apple Fails
Despite midi-over-bluetooth functionality being baked into OS X, this app is still relevant because it can connect apps that don’t work over Apple’s native midi-over-bluetooth solution. 5 Stars!!

It doesn't work since last update
Version 1.4 can't find each other (Mac and iPad ). I'm sorry for making the update....

    Wireless keytar sweetness
I've been looking for a cheap option to create a wireless keytar and this works nicely. Time to get my geek on.

    Good but...
This app is pure amazingness. I had occasional trouble getting it connected at first, then learned you have to hit the connect button at the same time on both devices. Great stuff. Show more

    Time code is not working
So time code is not working and the developer knows he made a mistake. I was told it would be fixed by the end of the week but no update. Great app if it worked right and was fixed quickly like they said it would be. Show more

Wider keys for a 5-star winner
Definitely does what it claims, though I had to search from both the a and b sides for a remote. Please give us the open for wider keys in the GUI. They're really too narrow to be of any use. Show more

    Background Awesomeness!!!
Understand what this app does. It is a background utility that provides an extremely low latency midi connection to other devices. Set it, forget it, then open your favorite midi controller app and jam. ALL bad reviews are from people who didn't take the time to RTFM. Sometimes I like to go to public places for a change of scenery. With this app, i can have a midi connection to my mac WITHOUT setting up an ad-hoc network, so wifi is still available if i need to procrastinate on the web :). TIP: When setting up on the mac side, you may need to open 'Audio Midi Setup' to test. I have found that leaving AMS open will disrupt the Apollo connection, so make sure to quit AMS for solid performance. Big thanks to an awesome dev for a great app!!! Show more

    You'll swear it's physically connected.
I never thought bluetooth le could deliver it's full promised bandwidth usably, but I was wrong, wrong, wrong. I swear you'll be shocked at how quick this is—there's no noticeable latency added by using Apollo instead of a wire. Shocking. Secret Base Design does it again! Show more

    Remote Midi is flawless!
I use this app all the time in performances. People are flabbergasted when I tell them about Apollo! Every musician I tell immediately gets it and is using it.

    Great app, period
This developer LISTENS. Well done. The app works flawlessly for me. iPhone talking to iPad without a hitch. Great!

    Sweet
    It Just Works

    Works perfect!
Didn't even have to set up an IAC bus. I was sequencing Alchemy Mobile from Ableton Live within minutes after downloading

    Awesome! But...
It will semi-randomly disconnect when I'm connecting to Ableton... no instructions on how to work around this, or isolate and fix the problem is unfortunate... The speed of midi transfer when it works is phenomenal, but as of now, it is not usable for me yet... Show more
