    Accessability
This is not accessible with voiceover. I am very sad because I have been a beetle fan for many many years I expected more.

Heartwarming to hear John again on his 80th birthday
Was told by a friend of this interactive app of John and Shaun’s journey to beautiful Bermuda. The tapes along with the visual interaction and music samples make this a wonderful app for the Beatle fan, but especially for fans of John. Happy 80th birthday John in Heaven! Show more

Great App but is not compatible with ios11
I absolutely love this app. It worked great when I was running iOS 10, but when I upgraded to 11, it no longer worked [wont even open]. Apparently the developers haven’t updated it. Show more

I’m getting problems to open it in IOS 11 because it is not compatible. It’s a beautiful software and I would not want to lose it. Please update as soon as possible. Thanks Show more

A Great App - even greater treasure from John & Yoko
Beautifully realized App provides a fantastic experience, and a story few knew regarding John's final musical outpouring in 1980 This is touching and timeless Musical magic

    Priceless
Beautiful. The tapes detail the intimate collaboration between John and Yoko as the songs developed from inception to finish. I really loved hearing my favorite songs acoustically and with none of the finishing touches. Some of the recordings on the tapes were much more appealing to me than the radio versions of the songs. A gift to Lennon & Yoko fans everywhere. Show more

    An overproduced treasure
Definitely worth getting BUT ... Prepare to be annoyed by background music thSt makes John's voice even harder to hear than the old recording itself. I appeciate the production effort but I would rather hear it unadorned or just hear it. Thanks for the app though. I really treasure this collection. Show more

    You gotta love him...
...or else you'll think this app is boring. I do love the John and Yoko story so I was pleased with this short romp in a chapter of their lives. I wish it lasted longer, but that's true of his life on the whole. At first I was really annoyed by the poor audio quality but it's only bad on the first chapter, presumably because of the background noise of the sea, wind and boat. So keep going - it gets better. Beautiful
Brought tears of bittersweet joy from hearing john talk about his beautiful journey. The animation is perfect. I'm about to listen to the tapes. I am in love!

    If You're a Fan...
Like I am--a major John Lennon fan--then you will want this. As a big fan, I had heard about these tapes, & was looking forward to hearing them. I love that they are right on my phone, but I'll still buy the hard copies if they become available. And if they ARE available now & I'm just not aware, well, I know what I want for Christmas!! Great buy though, very well done. Best used with headphones. And when you hear John Lennon, his voice, his vitality, you might shed a few tears for the icon we all lost that December day in 1980. Beautiful
This is a great story about John Lennon's creative process for Double Fantasy told in a creative semi-interactive app. Loved it.

Wow. Thank you, thank you, thank you
What a warm personal little app. I love the casual un-produced versions of these songs. They just strip the eighties right out of there and shine right through. Beautiful.

    A Beautiful and Creative App!
WhyHunger has made a really wonderful app. It's much like an interactive documentary. The content, which includes a story with interactive art, songs, and interviews is complete and lush. I am left with the feeling that a lot went into this app. Their emotional connection to John Lennon and the understanding of that connection with fans is very obvious. I would recommend this app to every Lennon fan, but also anyone that has respect for and enjoys creativity. Well done Show more

    App as art
This app raises the bar so high, it’s going to cause serious problems for all other app makers. It’s a beautiful tribute to John Lennon that is smart, interesting and entertaining. Beyond that, it also manages to push the boundaries and defy expectations about what an app can deliver. Incredible! Show more

I concur with the other positive reviews. Now let's see this applied to Sgt Pepper!
What a great app and a great cause. Now, let's hope this paves the way for apps for other great albums like Sgt Pepper, Abbey Road, White Album or Band on the Run! Perhaps even other artists? Funny how Peter Gabriel didn't think of this idea of an app first. He had great software where you could remix his music back in the 1990's. Anyway, this is a rare and last glimpse into John's last creative output before his life was cut short. Truly amazing! Show more
