This used to work *flawlessly* on Apple M1 Macs but for some reason you took it out of the App Store. I paid the full price to be able to use this on my Mac and then you silently removed it without a comment. Very disappointing :( I understand that your official M1 drivers are the preferred way to use your interfaces on macOS but sometimes users simply want to use their interfaces in CC mode on Mac or their employer’s IT policy does not allow changing security settings to install 3rd party kernel extensions. The Totalmix FX for iPad app on Apple Silicon Macs was the *perfect* solution for those users. You could have added a disclaimer to point out that the configuration is not “officially supported” but removing an app that looked, felt and functioned PERFECTLY on macOS is just disappointing and IMO feels like an unnecessary limitation. Please consider bringing this app back to M1 Macs :) Show more

I love babyface pro unit, but this is the most useless app I’ve had. The options are limited to 0. No fx, no recording, no phones options (as it’s shown in the advertised app pictures). I had to spend another 50$ to purchase Auria to be able to record and it’s still don’t work. I would like to get refund. Show more

I can’t believe how well this work, I’m still trying to figure out where’s the catch? I’ve got the Babyface Pro directly connected to my iPad Pro via USB-C dongle, no external power, and it just works. The full I/O round trip latency via software is minimal at 44.1kHz, and virtually gone at 96kHz. I primarily use TotalMix FX app to setup the inputs (gain, eq) on Babyface Pro so that I get the best signal brought into the app where I’m recording or just processing audio in real time. I wish RME would make more USB / iPad friendly hardware! Show more

Works perfectly. Note that this app is for connecting directly to an RME interface in Class Compliant mode. The app that allows remote control via a computer running Totalmix is separate and coming soon. Show more

Please be aware that this app does not control total mix via wireless or wifi . This app is designed for direct connection to your iPad and to use the RME interface as a stand alone unit. Ihad hoped that it could be used to control total mix while using my DAW. It will not. This makes the app useless for what I do. So why did I give it 5 stars? It's not the manufactures fault that I didn't do the research needed to find out how it actually works. From what I understand the app works and works well Show more

If you have to tether your ipad to your laptop, there's not much point

RME is far and away the best audio hardware manufacture I've worked with in my 15 years of professional experience. They have repeatedly amazed me with their commitment to support their customers and their products -- even adding features years after release, which were previously thought impossible. This app is a great example of that. I can now record to my iPad through my UFX hardware, and use this app to control every parameter with the same interface I have grown accustomed to on my Mac. 4 stars because we all obviously want to see this app wirelessly control the hardware. Duh. It could be done by adding the ability for this app to remote-control the TotalMix app running on a Mac/PC connected to the hardware. Yes, this would require a computer in addition to the iPad, but essentially everyone with RME hardware does have a computer available for this. Often the computer is a necessary part of the equation anyways, for recording to a DAW or adding FX processing to the signal path. Thanks for creating this as it is, RME! You rock! Show more

This app makes a great piece of audio gear even better! The reason I bought a UCX in the first place was because it records directly to an iPad. If you have an RME UFX or UCX, and an iPad, this is a must have. Now I can have all those channels simultaneously recording a live show, switch apps, change the stage monitor levels, and go right back to the recording app that is still recording. Well worth the price. Show more
