A complete failure. I played a simple tune on my instrument and the result was a disaster. I tried a few more times with the same result. Anyone that gives this 5 stars must be paid by the creators to do so. A complete and utter waste of money and time. I want my money back! Show more

The app has good bones but doesn’t pull it off just yet. There is plenty of room for improvement. A “No Network” message appears when I try to analyze the song. The timing is off on the recording. I am sure the folks at ScoreCloud will eventually work these and other issues out. Nice attempt at a difficult task! Show more

I tried to record a simple single note piano piece just to try it… it doesn’t chart what I play. It charts something completely different. The program simply doesn’t work. I want my money back. This was false advertising. Show more

I have just bought the app. You can’t use it without signing up with email or facebook. I don’t want to sign up for anything at all I would like to use it. I wouldn’t mind paying for subscription and so forth but I will never find out if it’s good or bad as I’m not going to provide any of my information and then remember passwords etc. Hopefully there will be an option in the future to start using it right off the bat Show more

This app is really bad it does not have the ability to transcribe chords or or basic movements. Unless you are just playing one key at a time it’s a waste of money. Show more

This app is glitchy to say the least, about 2 out of every 3 attempts to transcribe simple scores resulted in error messages~

I should have known by the 2012 copyright and the poor reviews that this program, if it EVER worked, certainly would fail on today’s iOS. Program only successfully captured 2 notes out of 4 (roughly 10 second) recordings. On 3 recordings gave an error upon starting analysis and then just sat there. The 4th clip was only 2 notes, which it captured. Roughly every other touch to the screen would crash the app. Maybe if author updated his code, instead of leaving 7 year old app on store to snag the unwary, it might work. In its present form it is useless. Show more

I love this app. It's simple and when you import the sounds correctly it's pretty accurate. It's a great way to get started putting your music onto paper. Lots of room for improvement, including the ability to Mark and chords and have a bass clef and multiple notes but overall this app is wonderful and is helping me get the songs I have created into lead sheets. Please continue to develop Score Cloud, it rocks! Show more

I downloaded this app in hope it would work correctly as it’s demonstrated. But when I tried it it doesn’t write the correct note and timing was off too. I’m disappointed paying for something that doesn’t work as well as it is demonstrated on YouTube videos. You guys need to fix that problem Show more

if you want to have more than 10 songs, you have have to pay a monthly subscription of 5$ (which 60$ a year btw) after you already bought the app! The app will literally stop working until you delete enough songs to get to the minimum. :( I regret giving these con artists any money, and the app doesn’t even work regardless, it gets notes wrong even if I play slowly on my piano. I thought this would transcribe chords, but it doesn’t. Still a fun app though.

Cannot find anywhere online how to edit in the ScoreCloud express - for iPad. There is no “help” that I can see on the app itself. I have no idea how to simply change a quarter note to a half note. Show more

I’m done with this software (which was somewhat helpful) but now my account can’t be found in the system, and I’m getting charged monthly with no way to turn the payments off! A TERRIBLE way to get business! Show more

Completely inaccurate. This program is unable to correctly score anything. Waste of $2.99.

I agree with those that failed to have a multiple instrument recording from the mic option and even if the track of interest is much higher in the mix I found it could not properly transcribe the piece. I then just played it on my violin and it did great. The only mistakes were really as a result of my poor playing and even those were very easy to fix with the editing tools which are fantastic. If your looking for a way to get the music on paper for something you can play by ear then this thing is great but it has a way to go before it'll be ready for song by mic transcription. Show more

Completely useless for anything productive, but nice to play with for a while. How about letting us choose the key and time signature up front? Then give us a metronome to sing along to? Maybe a flashing light if you're worried about audio interference....Much faster to scribble down onto staff paper for a single line. Right now its a "dollar store" app - you get what you pay for...... Show more

Barely works and what it does is trivial.

Fails to properly transcribe notes and you'll end up with a song that has nothing to do with what you recorded. Fails to properly analyze notes and upload them and also has many glitches. Will constantly close on you. If I could get my money back I would. Save your money worst app ever, stay away! Show more

I was hoping to get an app where they translated a recording into music. I have an old recording of an improv piece I did on the piano. I was hoping this app would retrieve the lost notes. This app was very glitchy, it couldn't even translate chords, and when I recorded separate notes, it even got those wrong, along with the timing. It also complained a lot about background noises that weren't existent. Show more

This will only record a single-note melody line. It's easier to write that down yourself. Print some free staff paper online. Seriously, save yourself the $2.
