Worth pro version (they call it Full version). I live on this app, for meetings, for note taking later on, for archiving important recorded conversations and phone calls.

I record learning tracks for my chorus and am able to rehearse the songs even when I’m not following on line.

(0) could accept MIDI triggers from something like an IK Multimedia iRig BlueBoard; (1) could turn to landscape mode; (2) could use the slider to more accurately move in time ... Maybe a double-tap to zoom-in to the timeline to more accurately navigate within a 30min or longer recording; (3) include buttons to replay the last 3/5/10/15/20/30/60 seconds. Been meaning to write this review for a while. This app is the best… there is no substitute. Whether you are a musician, field recorder hobbyist, or just a person with a lot of ideas this is the absolute best app for you to record audio. They thought of everything you need before you need it. The pro version is worth every penny. The development team on this one is superior to all other app development teams. Show more

I bought this $6.99 app because the other one by them quit working, with no way to submit a request for assistance. After getting this paid app & trying it 5 times, my voice was so low on the test runs that the background of nothing was louder than my voice. I am not pleased so far. Show more

Great app helped me get back into recording after not really doing anything musically for a few years

Was not able to monitor the recordings and was not able to switch to plugged in microphone, thinking paid app will unleash these features waste

Bought this one, in addition to old one, hoping Sound Cloud integration would work. No. It does not. Very disappointed.

For a musician, singer/songwrier, etc, this app is extremely useful. I've been ising it for years and I always tell all my friends to get it.

Perfect except for no stereo recording..so I am using RecorderHQ which utilizes the stereo microphones on iPhone until this updates. All the new phones have stereo capability. Please update. Thank you. Show more

I use this app daily for language learning, and it works great for recording. However, for going back and trying to listen to what I've recorded, it's a real pain. Yes, you can create categories for your recordings, but you can't select a whole category to listen to. You have to individually select each track that you want to listen to. If the developers just added a way to "play all" in a category, that would make this app an absolute winner in recording AND listening. Show more

Dont buy

It takes 3-4 clicks to backup the audio files. Why isn't there an auto upload to the cloud services we have configured to work with the app? Why would I or anyone else not want to use the cloud backups without digging into the cloud menu options we need to press to back up. The files should save locally and have an option to upload right away. Show more

If I make a 10 second recording, then add effects to it, then “Save As A New Recording” that “New” file is anywhere from 7-9 seconds rather than the original 10 seconds. 1-3 seconds is cut off the end EVERY TIME. No special settings can account for this & support is non existent. I paid for Full Pro Version. Big mistake. Already looking for a better app. Show more

Updated 5/11/20 This app still remains the best and I still feel the same as when I wrote the below review. --------------------- I've been using this app extensively at least 2-3 times per week for over 5 years now. So I'm definitely qualified to write this honest review. As a professional musician I mostly use this app to record live performances both solo & with a full band. I also discovered that it works amazingly at helping me capture new song ideas. And using the notes feature to write down both the chords and lyric ideas As a heavy user of this app & also a huge fan. It's been a lot of fun trying to use every single feature offered which are a lot. All of this has helped me discover that this app is not only masterfully designed but it continues to get better at a very healthy rate. Without ever making any huge updates like the ones that end up ruining so many other apps. I can honestly say that it has never failed me and has always exceeded any and all my expectations. I truly look forward to using this incredible functional and reliable application. IMO this app is the definition of the perfect app. Show more

Hi I am trying to use advanced editing ; but, the app does not let me to save the changed file.

This is a full-featured but simple-to-use recorder. It has so many options for saving, editing, adding notes, and sharing files. While there are many things to customize (eg recording format), the menu can be simplified to show only the items you commonly use. I use this for recording both voice and for music practice and accompaniment. This is one of my very favorite apps. Show more

Can’t get the files from iwatch to transfer to iPhone, just frustrating you can’t find any instructions or support.

Now this is a 5 star app. Great addition of iCloud Drive. Please consider changing the name to Voice Record Pro, you can leave the "Full" off of the title.

Multiple times I have recorded meetings, the timer running and recording indicator on, and when I stop the recording session I will only have literally the first second saved. Very frustrating especially since I paid. Show more
