    Another good one
Like all of their synths! Great sounding! Get it now!

    Core subtractive synth
Regular classic synth sounds. Reason for high rating is this is very efficient, low cpu for most things, which is always an issue on iPad versus laptop.

Cassini and Polysix had a baby!
I thought this would be just a generic polysynth, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. This is a really fun app, and I'm glad it now has AU support! If you like the simplicity of the Polysix, you'll love this. It doesn't sound as smooth or dampy as the polysix, but it still combines what makes the iPolysix fun with the modern and quirky traits of Cassini. Show more

    Lorentz is a BEAST
I own a LOT of iPad audio apps and well over 30 iOS synths. Of those, there are only a handful I would use for professional recording, such as Moog Model 15, Animoog, Korg ARP Odessei, Nave, and a few others. I would put Lorentz in that elite group. It can sound like a Jupiter 8 or a CS80 or even a 303. The routing is amazing… the filters are top-notch (a full LPF on just the Delay)… and that resonator just fills the sound with harmonics. Lorentz does dark and gritty very well too. It has all the MIDI options needed as well as Link. Did I mention it has dual envelopes? The other IceWorks synths are great too but this is my dog right here. Show more

    Link has strange property
Love all iceworks apps. I have all the recent Link-enabled ones and they are always the first ones I open during a session. For some reason, when the apps join the network they interrupt the tempo of the session first instead of looking at what the current tempo is first and changing to that. This can really jumble what would otherwise be a seamless and enjoyable experience. All the synths sound great and I love the arp and hold buttons. I also love that they have standard midi functionality. Show more

    Resonator!
Love the resonator section in this app. This is a solid, mostly one-page synth made special by the resonator that transforms every patch in beautiful and dissonant ways. Well worth the price for this effect alone. Show more

    Nice one
Good synth for working with bass, pads, leads, poly. Nice clean one-page interface, only other window is for the arp. (And it's a really good arp too, jam on it in real time.) LPF on the delay does lead to some interesting patches if you are a delay junkie. Not overloaded with presets but most of what they include are usable, very few of the "I created this amazing patch that you are never going to use" type. Dual filters remind me of my Virus. More of a "digital" sound than synths like iSEM or iMini, but not harsh. Reliable too. Audiobus is solid. Midi learn. You can create your own folders for user presets. You can create arp presets too. All good. Show more

    Beautiful Sounds!
Of the 44 synths I currently have loaded on my iPad, this one ranks up at the top of the pile. The interface is very intuitive and the sound engine is simply beautiful. This is one app that I take great pleasure in composing with or simply noodling. I also really like IceWorks other synths, Laplace, Mersenne, and Cassini. All are very well done but this one is perhaps my favorite. In a field that's saturated with so many synth apps its easy to miss some really great ones. I'm glad I gave this one a try! Show more

    Solid, unspectacular
Just as Laplace had the 'Exciter' module that set it apart from the sea of iOS synths, Lorentz has a unique feature in its delay LPF. It's compact and easy to tweak, but I felt boxed in and forced to use delay after a while, as the sounds sans the delay effect are just par for the course. Lorentz is a solid third-tier iOS synth. Great sounds
You can craft some really unique sounds with this thing. The resonator adds a nice touch and the arp is top notch. Nice accessible interface, great synth for beginners.

    Wonderful interface
This is what happens when someone gets it right and designs a real synth that looks AND SOUNDS like one. Beautiful ! I love this synth. One request is to save the arp notes in the patch.peace Christo Show more

Limited usage due to poor design
You can't really use thus synth for any really serious work. All the multiple setting features you can only "step" though the setting which forces you to stop playing so you don't hear the in-between settings. They really didn't think that through. And the built in keyboard is only 2 octaves with no ability to move up and down the octaves. Yes, there is oscillator range button but like I already mentioned, you have to step through the three range choices and you can only travel top to bottom and back to the top. That just isn't good design. Show more

    Very nice Synth
How are there no reviews on this thing? Oh that's right, according to the audiobus forum reviews are a waste a time and do no good? This synth has some amazing sounds, all the tweaks can be done on one screen. Easy to dial in a great tone, 6 bucks? What's to think about. Show more

    One of my favorites
This app sounds great right out of the gate, and has plenty of options for further tweaking your sounds. The interface is simple and well laid out, and just works with no rude surprises. MIDI implementation works fine. A little in-app help would be a welcome addition, though a manual is available on the Web. Highly recommend. Show more
