Title says it all.

I’ve had this app for a good year or 2 and it all of a sudden stopped working today. It won’t pick up any sound and the mic is enabled.

It took some time to figure out the way the app runs, but it’s fairly easy to use and pretty accurate for musical purposes. Tbh, it’s suitable to use and have if you don’t have mixed in key. Show more

I analyze all of my music with Mixed In Key and tested Mixvibes ageist their analysis (which is the best in the industry). Mixvibes was close, it was plus or minus 1 step consistently. If this is the only thing you use for key detection it will probably work fine, but it was disappointing in contrast with real key detection that relies on the actual files instead of the mic. I took the reviews with a grain of salt bought for myself anyway and it seems to work just fine.

I didn’t think I was using the app correctly. The start button only changes color. It is not clear when the device is listening and analyzing the music. I can’t tell if the display is updated or stuck in a setting mode. I don’t trust this app and regret buying it. I couldn’t find instructions. The description only promises that it is easy. Too bad it is not as described. It would have been nice to have this app working. Show more

Cannot use to detect song key. Useless.

Wouldn’t recommend, didn’t work good at all.

I bought this app to be able to identify what key a song is in so I can enhance my guitar playing . Instead no success. Maybe this is made for dj’s only ☹️ Show more

Whoever made this app is scamming people. All it does is play keys. No detecting. Waste of money.

Don’t waste your money

I used a song that know has a fixed key to test this app and it picked up everything but Fb major. It’s a flop and I don’t recommend

This is a very simplistic app, that for my limited application, really works. Keep in mind that I have only used it for electronic music on the Camelot key wheel. I finally have a way to get the key of the song off my vinyl records. In my experience it works best to turn the bass down and place your phone right in front of the speakers. I confirmed the accuracy by doing some controls on music in my engine prime software where the key has already been determined. Show more

This app does not work.

It doesn’t detect anything just plays scales and leaves it to you to determine what key your dong is. Save your money

This app doesn't do anything. I sing into the app but it does not tell me what key the song is in. It just keeps analyzing and nothing changes on the interface. Show more

This app doesn’t even work. It just says looking for sound but doesn’t do anything else. Waste of money.
