We use this app regularly with our 5 year old through OT. It’s frustrating that you can’t drag the bar to start the music over when I start it too soon. I also have issues every time I close the app….the things I’ve purchased disappear and won’t restore. Please fix this glitch so I can use this app more effectively. Show more

The OT therapist used this app with my son whois diagnosed with ADHD, high-functioning autism with sensory processing disorder. He combines it with other therapies and it's definitely helping. Customer service was prompt. My only recommendation is that there is an ability to preview a portion of it as I try to figure out which are both in alignment with his needs and may be pleasurable to him. I also wish the description of the downloads were consistent with the level of description. Some are very descriptive and helpful when deciding others are light on words. Show more

The app is difficult to navigate. The prices for the product are excessively high >$1.00 per minute of music. The rates are also not published until you choose one to consider. There are also no previews so hopefully it is what your recommending provider wanted to you use. Show more

I have bought the music but it’s never there unless I’m online. Well, not everybody has great coverage! It should be able to be on my iPad or phone as I need it. Is it for therapy? Or is this a joke. Show more

I can’t set up an account to listen to my music, I have to buy it for every single device!!! Great music but really expensive if you need it on multiple devices! Show more

I hate that I can’t sign in an account to let my son listen to music while with others! I’ve had to buy music multiple times and that is such a dirtbag way to make money from families that need so many resources to help their kids! Show more

Within the TL App. I tried to use the 9.99 Rental but it said “Cannot connect to ITunes Store. Out of curiosity I tried the 34.99 Buy option and it connected right away. When you display two options and give the consumer ONLY one option, that’s a problem. My girlfriend has been struggling with this app (Multiple Issues - Google compatibility, etc.) and the techs have been blaming the compatibility with all phones and it’s app. I decided to try it on my new IPhone. Download was fine. Navigating through the app seems to be ok. Went to the Store. It seems to me that there is a problem with the linkage between the Rental button in your app and the ITunes Store. This needs a fix. As a programmer this is your problem not ITunes Store. I am trying to help with constructive criticism. Looking on the Apple Store, bug and rental fixes seems to be an issue. Hopefully this gets fix and you get positive reviews. I wish you the best and will continue to give constructive criticism. Show more

It seems like every time a new phone update comes out or I get a new phone it won't redownload my music. It will try, but it just keeps starting over no matter what connection I have. It makes me sad because my favorite disc is a download instead of a chip. They did get it fixed last time so hopefully they will get this one. Show more

I’m disappointed in this app. I’m sure the testimonials are accurate and we had some success using it with our son, so I’m giving it a generous 3-stars for this reason. I’ve taken away two-stars because there are several factors not included in the app description, which are key to end users. 1. Regarding family sharing — Only the app is shareable; content is not shareable. The only way for purchased content to be downloaded is for the same AppleID to be used across devices. Each different AppleID for (parents or caretakers) would have to purchase the same content. Supposedly, per the app’s support team, this is an Apple enforced restriction; but if I can buy music through Apple Music and share it with my family, why can’t I do the same here? Seems like it would be possible if the app had a user based option versus tying it to the AppleID. 2. Although the app is available to all, you have to be working with a therapist familiar with this app to find selections appropriate to your situation. 3. Samples of music are only available through a therapist. You cannot listen to samples in the app or online. 4. Albums are expensive. I’m sure the cost is reflective of the science and time involved in producing these, so not saying it is warranted. It just makes appropriate album selection more important, so you’re not wasting money. Also, since content is not shareable, it becomes even more expensive for families. Honestly, it doesn’t feel good having to pay so much. Hopefully, it provides readers relief worth the cost. Show more

Doesn’t help to keep therapy consistent when it’s always crashing

All I can say is that this music has been amazing! Such a blessing for our daughter and our family.

This app is HORRIBLE!!! You spend $30 on music/sounds that you can’t choose which track (got the nature sounds) or know what kind of sounds are on what track, can’t forward or start over. It doesn’t go into your normal music app, you have to use ridiculous app to listen. There’s no list of the tracks or how long they are or able to pause or stop. It just starts playing whatever track it feels like and on shuffle. SO irritating!!! Plus it would’ve been nice to sample the different albums so you what kind of sounds you’re purchasing and how intense they are! And some of the jungle sounds are frightening because the birds sound like someone yelling at random moments. WORST APP!!! Show more

So far we’ve had a great experience with therapeutic listening with our daughter. She is 9 & prior to this did not have enough emotional regulation or body awareness to be potty trained, but she’s been dry for her first week ever after a few weeks of TL. We are looking forward to starting it with our son. For what it’s worth we had the same issues with connecting more than one device but we called Vital Links & they were great at helping us troubleshoot. As it turns out you can solve the issue by using the family sharing option in your settings as long as you are using an Apple device that has been updated 9.1 or higher, the Apple ID is the same between them, it won’t work between IOS & Android & after restoring purchases, it will work seamlessly. We also put the old iPhones in an exercise belt to keep lil fingers away. Show more

I’ve been using Therapeutic Listen in my practice, and in my home with my own children, for 10-12 years now. I get great results with my patients. I use Quickshifts in every treatment session for therapeutic support. This app makes it easy for parents to get the music their kids need, and very little on my part. Love it! Show more

This app won’t share between my iPhone and iPad. Had to pay to rent the music in both devices.

App is really bad at sharing effectively across devices. Even when using the same user . That’s pretty ineffective when the music should be shared with a child. Even when we attempted to purchase the songs 2 times at the overinflated price, still it does work Show more

Con: This rental business is not helpful if it can not be shared across devices. Can change this with user names and passwords added into the app. It’s only rental, no one is going to steal/pirate your content. Pro: This stuff worked great for my child who is five and has a few learning and behavioral issues. I would still recommend with a few advisories. Show more

Our 6 year old struggles with self-regulation. Within two days of playing the Regulation 1 music twice a day during quiet times (no other music playing or screen time) our son is so, so much calmer - it’s absolutely amazing!!! Show more
