You can’t turn your phone off and still have the music playing. You can’t close out of the app. Other than that it is a great app

It play the song you want and doesn’t play random songs like Spotify best thing ever also if you get YouTube premium it is 10 times better

I love the YouTube laptop and phone apps. For my taste in music you do a great job matching the styles. But the YouTube tv app should be separate from the YouTube music tv app. The YouTube tv music app should be in sink with the phone and computer apps and function the same And the phone should have the ability to function as the remote,like Spotify. App worked great with uploaded music for a long time. However, recently while browsing uploaded albums, if I tap on an album, then go back a screen, it kicks me back to the YT Music list instead of the previous spot on the Upload list. This is super tedious if you have a lot of albums, since I have to scroll all the way back to my previous place on the list to continue browsing. Show more

This is more for the devs than anyone else. I am an avid user of yt music, I’m subscribed to premium and all that mix, I have been for some time and the service up until these past few days has been outstanding. However as of a few days ago the app has encountered an error which has made it unusable: when I play a song, wether it be from an album or search or starting a radio: the wrong song is played making the app unusable. I’ve done everything under the sun to trouble shoot but it hasn’t been working. Hoping an update will fix this but I’ve heard this is an ongoing issue for other users. Show more

The option doesn’t reset, some songs I clicked I don’t like are still their staring at me lol. Annoying

When I use my AirPods Pro (2nd gen) the songs start to get buggy. More specifically, during the beginning of a new song, the song will pause and unpause itself repeatedly. I don’t know why this happens, but the app itself is just really buggy when I use them. Show more

I’ll click a song to start a “radio” and quite often one song will play before forgetting the rest of the playlist it created and only having that one song in the queue. Or I’ll go to my DOWNLOADED music and it will do that exact same thing. Play a couple songs then delete the rest of the playlist somehow. Which if you’re using this as your music app in the car, can be very very frustrating. The three vertical dots next to a song is extremely unresponsive, as well as holding down a song/album to bring up the options to “Play next” or “Start radio”. Oftentimes, holding or clicking the dots does absolutely nothing until minutes later and you have a bunch of mini-menus popping up because it’s now registering all those inputs. This app is made by a billion dollar company, it should not be producing an app a 14 year old can make in a summer. Show more

There’s definitely room for improvement but it is by far my best choice for listening to music. Any song, any remix, anything is on YouTube music.

The algorithm on this app has put me on to artists that I listen to to this day. The UI is great. I love the start a radio from a song feature. I just wish we had cross platform music sharing like Spotify. And wrapped would be nice. Basically just steal all their good features without the terrible UI. Thank you Show more

No cost, no ads, overall this is the best app I have ever used. And Spotify is nothing like YouTube music

If I have several songs picked out, all the time it’ll stop after the song I’m on and if I look it’s the only song in queue, like no songs were played before it and like no songs were set to play after. That will be the only song in queue. It drives me crazy and makes me kind of want to find a new music app that’s doesn’t so this when it happens. It does it at least once a day. Show more

Used 27% of my battery in 30 mins using CarPlay. Phone was hot to the touch. Load Spotify, 1% battery via CarPlay in 30 mins. Both playing downloaded playlists only.
