Love the sounds, hate having to race to print them to tracks before that AUV3 crashes! IAA seems stable, but I prefer separate faders for my instruments. Maybe I’m missing something? So I install it, work with it, then get frustrated and delete it. But then there’s that one thing I need for the next tune that makes me install it again. Can we get it to work better? Is there someplace to submit crash or bug reports? Show more

I really enjoy making music, this is my side hobby when I’m not playing sports. This just took me to a whole other level in my composing journey. OUTSTANDING APP!!!!!!! This app is in need up of a major update. Adding auv3 plugins and more effects would be nice. I moved on to bm3 a few years ago and check for updates on this app periodically. I’ve outgrown this app. Show more

it’s constantly crashing when I load it as an auv3 in almost any host app. The sounds are amazing and I love using it but find myself having to add an extra step of bouncing my midi to audio due to the frequency of the instrument crashing when I try to load the whole project. I thought this would’ve been fixed by now. Fix this issue and I have nothing but good things to say. Show more

No matter what I’ve tried to do with this thing, standalone, drum machine, AU sound bank, it’s been disappointing and I’ll end up using a more worthy competitor app. It’s too bad really. Other devs hone their wares to be precisely what the music making consumer wants. This one? Sorry but the UI is garbage, the unit takes up a large percentage of DSP (check on AUM by swiping right on the node). Guys, you had a decent idea like 7 years ago. Make it a go in the 2020s it can’t be that hard to compete. Show more

I’ve used and enjoyed Beathawk for years and have purchased many sound packs. With the last release the app has become unusably unstable as an AUv3 app. I’ve contacted support several times over several months and they report no progress on a diagnosis or a fix. My advice: do not invest unless you are ok with frequent crashes. Very sad. Show more

i like how it lets you import your own sounds and make your own drum kits. i also like how you can manipulate those sounds right on the pad controller. this app is a very useful tool Show more

Drum sound packs are great and that’s it . These are the first sounds I bought on iOS and wanted my money back .i would recommend buying drum hawk for drumming only . Sound packs are kind of weak and not worth it Show more

I had thought I had a bug in playback somewhere. But I get busy with work. And checking for email for a developer is…. Well, a wait because I am not solely working on my production as u guys work round the clock on Uvi touch.net So I was lil lost win uvi responded. My issues transport. The loop button is broken. It’s function does not loop. Simple. And export. Export is what exactly? I mean, for BeatHawk?? An app Dat does not support aum3 and Audiobus. So what is “export” in BeatHawk?? Can anybody explain??? UVI has always been one of my favorite vst/vsti developers. They always have top notch sounds, so I expected nothing less when I purchased BeatHawk. Ide be the 1st to admit this was a bit of a learning curve for me, because I’m used to DAW sequencer set up for studio sessions (Reaper and Cubase). I originally bought it to use as an AUv3 drum machine plugin to use in Garage Band and BM3. Which it does work in that way, but the more I played with it as a plug-in, the more I dove into it as a stand-alone workstation. I eventually started using it in the way as it was intended, and the more I became attached to it. It’s simple to use but it can get complex when you really start to create. Not to mention, it’s a sexy looking UI and has top notch quality sounds that compliment it nicely. Way to go UVI! Now we need the UVI Workstation for iPad. Show more

Love Beathawk. Has help to make my Garageband drums knock. One issue since the latest update. When I play through a Bluetooth connection it sounds distorted

Disappointed that the menu function is literally unusable on the iPad mini 2021. This makes this app completely useless on that device. I will ask for a refund since I’m not interested in using it on other platforms. Show more

Dope app. I started making beats on a old emax sampler with an 8 track alesis sequencer so this app is crazy kind of like asr x in modern app format. Only improvements I can see is maybe res ample with maybe more effects options but really that’s it. And the sound banks are top notch.... As of 9-28-21 since the new update this app keeps freezing.. I don’t usually won’t buy an app that doesn’t offer some kind of trial run first and BeatHawk is a perfect example why. On the out side Beahawk looks amazing it’s loaded up with special features, interchangeable drum pad, beat sequencer, effects and recording ability. Every thing you want to here,,, I mean everything you need.When you open it however it’s a completely different story. The sounds horribleIn the editing is even worse, it’s hard to navigate through the multiple screens he has and the sequencer is choppy at best there are way better apps out there that can do the exact same thing and sound way better for free Show more

I for some reason thought that there was a piano roll and it was a little disappointing. I think I did read the print to realize it was just samples. The rating I gave was based on the UI not the sounds. I’m probably just going to get the big kid version when I get the money. Show more
