Please update the app, remove it as something that can be purchased from the Apple App Store, or warn people not to click to purchase it because it can’t be used with the current version of iOS. be prepared to request refund was unable to access microphone on my phone and therefore was un-usable. I know how to work my settings it was not it was not user error, this app does not show under the list of apps able to use microphone in settings. Show more

I purchased it from the Apple App Store. Via my IPhone, went to use it it pops Il a message “requires mic access - settings-privacy- microphone.” However after going to my settings /privacy/ mic Access request all other apps that have requested mic-access from my device show but not Tuned XD. I requested a refund and received it and then decided to try it again. Still it does not show in my list of apps that have requested mic access. I again requested a refund this time that request was denied. I surely wanted this app to work but save yourself the trouble. There are way too many other options and choices available. Can not turn on Mic... doesn’t pick up my vocals... can I get my money back??

I just started Jaimie’s vocal academy and was psyched for this tool. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear in my iPhone settings, which means I can’t enable the app to access my microphone. I’m very disappointed, and it’s best you know before you buy. I’ve a new iPhone XR, so this is a bit of a bummer. ☹️ Show more

Before I downloaded this appI had 4 separate apps running to meet my expectations of scales, timer, metronome, etc. but this has it all!! I would give this a 5 1/2 star rating if I could. Great app thanks Jaime!! Recommend for all singers. Show more

This app is wonderful on so many levels. It contains multiple tools to help the musician or singer improve his/her craft!! You won't be disappointed.

I use this quite a bit while driving all over the place. The warm up scales are great and the glass shattering game is pretty Kool! that part helps you hold a note steady. You can change the notes and the frequency of the tone that you are generating. Show more

First let me address "Joshcello" - to edit the scales and keys you need to go into the settings for each icon (usually found in the upper right corner). Just look something that looks like a notched gear wheel. Upon initial use of the app I found some of the same issues as Joshcello; navigaton isn't as clear as it should be. In some sections there is a clear "back" button, in others there is not. There are additonal features like tuning from a piano or guitar tuning but it's not labeled clearly. What would be helpful is an overlay that displays when you click each icon that tells you all the features of each section and how to access the additional features; and an option to not have that overlay display again once you've gotten to know how to access and use the different features. Example: the tuning fork section: what's not labeled clearly is that you can choose which octave to start in by pressing the numbers along the bottom and then turn the wheel with your finger to change the note. Yes there is a "settings" gear here but it would nice to not have to click that once I'm in the section to know how to use the sections. What I feel is that this app was adapted from other apps from the same developer to add the vocal features for singers like the "shattering glass" and vocal scales sections. A good start but it should have been given to some vocal coaches like myself in beta to get some feedback before releasing to the public. Jaime is a friend and a great vocal coach but this app needs some more developing and some redesign of the menu to truly be a "dummy proof" app. Show more

I'm looking for an app that can generate scales in multiple octaves for my cello students to use as a reference tone for their intonation. This one seemed promising based on its description, but so far I've hit two stumbling blocks to my recommending it: 1- it seems to only work at A=440, the A can not be adjusted to any other frequency like 441, 442, etc. 2- the scale generator only seems to work for one octave in spite of my setting it up for greater ranges (ex. a two or three octave range). It also didn't respond to setting different ending notes. If there's a button I missed seeing, tell me, but I've dealt with other apps with far more options. Show more

If you want to improve pitch, power, and range, then this is a must have. It's perfect for doing vocal exercises anywhere. Add Jaime's book Raise Your Voice into the mix and you pretty much have the ultimate tools to build your voice. A big thanks to Jaime Vendera for all he has done for singers! Show more

Wow! Great app! Easier to use to tune my guitar than the one that clips on neck.
