Cannot log back in minutes after creating account. Totally frustrating!

During MIDI capture, the app seems too difficult to control. The version provided on the app store becomes stuck during transcription leaving force-quit as the only way to stop it from flashing the last transcribed stuck note. Instrument selections should have been persistent, but they were not. Paying up front for an app is better than the surprise that a monthly subscription is the only way to unlock the features that make it usable. Settings for MIDI IN, MIDI OUT, MIDI Thru, and audio out should all be obvious and readily accessible at all times. Show more

I have had none of the user problems reported in the reviews. I have entered over 600 songs in my library with only an occassional compromise, usually because I hadn't read the help topics yet (scroll thru tips - readily available on the right side of the manuscript screen). I read music (know where the notes are on the staff), but I'm not a trained or formally educated musician. I just put the notes in from my computer keyboard, or point and click - it's not difficult. people need to stop trash talking devs put in hours of work into making a great program, for ZERO DOLLARS, like, you don't have to use it if you don't like it! And they host you an account on their servers and allow you a few songs FOR FREE if this was some kind of malware, or something other then free software probably helping someone out there (I use it for fun) then a 2 star rating would be more appropriate? Like if you dont like it then tell the devs why (probably without trash rating) or, better yet delete it and has 0 net affect on your life (cost you no money) like if you wasted time downloading it to find it was useless then stop wasting time on other things in your life to compensate?? These days I usually give 4 star ratings to good software, but the ratings on this one were a bit unbalanced Show more

Wow, tried three functions and got an error on all of them. Played 8th notes in the real time function and they were input as 32nds...Don't let these developers beta test on you. Show more

Will not transpose. Keeps giving error messages. Difficult to use. not very intuitive. I think I wasted my money.

I just started using this program to compose with, bought a month of PRO, and it seems to work great when in composing mode, using my keyboard to input, but when I want to import a midi file that I have already, it refuses to play and keeps telling me the audio is not running. I restart it, get the green light, click play.. and nothing. Clicking play again tells me that audio is not running. I’m using a Yamaha bluetooth MD-BT01 device on my keyboard to connect to my Mac, and it connects just fine. Seems worthless once I have a composed piece in sheet music view, and it won’t play at all. Perhaps it just doesn’t have any support for 64-bit Midi over a bluetooth connection. Show more

i just got this and i tyred both downloading from their website and downloading the app. with both i cant even get past the opening create acount screen. it just tells me that “there was a server error” and to check my internet conection. the connection is fine. but even though they just told me an acount couldnt be created they lost no time spaming my email and facebook with promotions. if it worked im sure it would be great. I tried signing in with facebook it could not connect to server and when I tried to make an account it said my email was already used so this app is now useless to me Show more

Instead of sitting and writing it out or using a Program like MuseScore which you have to edit the note when using the Keyboard i and to MuseScore I am sorry to say I have found my Sheet Music Program in ScoreCloud 100 times better than MuseScore in my Opinion. Well Done in the Creation of the Program. Show more

The app makes you sign in with facebook or register prior to even trying it out. That’s a deal breaker for me.

Works great.

Now I can understand an app having extra features that won’t work if I don’t sing in. But not even running at all? That is just unacceptable!!! I don’t even trust an app that runs that way. Show more

This app saved me when I needed a tool for arranging a song. It’s highly intuitive - didn’t really need any time to learn to use it - and it works. AND IT’s FREE. wHATTTT Show more

This things seems cool, but Holy Hannah! From the first 5 minutes I was getting frustrated because it was impossible to add a dotted half note. The app insisted on adding two dotted quarter notes tied together instead. No matter what I did, it knew best, and the more I tried to get it to just add the dotted half, the more it would start tying things to previous measures and “correcting”measures I already had the way I wanted them. Also, all these toolbars and not a single one that was obvious for tying two notes together. It seemed to have no problem doing that itself, but I could not find the option. Also, “play” did not work. Finally, this whole idea of auto adding rests after every note to make up the remainder of the measure could not be more annoying. Just let me write the music for crying out loud and stop trying to second guess my every intention. So far, the app has NEVER guessed correctly, which makes what the developers probably think is a nice helpful feature a MAJOR obstacle. This app may shine in transcribing what you play/sing (I didn’t try it), but as a pure score entry system, I cannot imagine a more frustrating 30 minutes of my life. Scored 3 stars because I did not try all features and based on other reviews it appears to have its purpose. Show more

Great app, but misses XML export. It would be so great if the scores could be further eddited in a professional music notation program like Finale ore Sibelius. Can’t wait for them to implement this feature! Then I’ll give it 5 stars. Show more

I needed to write out some vocal parts for a musical I am working on. This was a quick way to get the parts annotated and be able to hear them separately and together. I highly recommend it to those who need to hear what they are writing and to be able to provide notes for singers learning music. Show more

I downloaded this to make my life a bit easier when it comes to writing music. Instead I’ve spent countless hours trying to turn off the automatic adjustments and be able to write the score as I need it to be written! I rather do it by hand since it will take much less time. Show more
