I got this app before it had a subscription service tied to it, and it was great then! But now, it has a strange subscription involved with it, and it's really a puzzling thing. There's a mic icon *on the main screen* that doesn't do anything but advertise the subscription service. Remove it. I'm not paying for it, but don't rub it in my face. I'd consider maybe paying for it, if I knew what said mic button actually *did* when paid for, but since even that's behind a paywall, I'm not buying it. Also, I don't get the option to use the ultra-wide or telephoto cameras. Why not? Show more

Would give 5 stars but there is a bug that causes the audio to cut out.

It’s kinda slow

This app is useful when it actually does what it’s supposed to. The problem is it tends to crash or give a “reset your camera session” message randomly for no apparent reason which results in your video being lost. After losing an important video today I think I’m officially done with this app. Show more

I used to be a huge fan of these people and utilized then and then they sold out and became corporate ducks.

I use this app solely to record my lifts (I’m pretty serious with my lifts) and of course need my music to stay psyched and focused. This app has never failed me in keeping my music running at full quality while recording crisp clips of my lifts. It has crashed a couple times since 2019 but not while I was recording so it’s not an issue at all. Show more

This is a good app and works as advertised... super frustrating that these is no unlimited license. It's just another app trying to scheme you into a bogus subscription model. Like, I get it, im an ios/fullstack engineer myself. You deserve to be compensated! That plus it seems like Apple is changing their api's every week so I can fully understand the costs and overhead of maintance. I'd be more than willing to pay for this product. But not for the rest of my life... and I dont want cloud storage either! It'd be easily worth a substantial flat payment. Even like $50-100. Lots of integrations and nice features. Just like adobe went this path too. What an annoying trend. So here is my user experience: I cant export my movie without 'subscribing', cant buy the app. I know ill forget im subscribed and pay for nothing for a while. So im going to use my free trial, export the movie, unsubscribe immediately, and delete the app forever. This is the downside of this trend of 'subscription' based software. They push this sub on you and justify it with a little bit of cloud storage, which they definately data mine and turn around and double down by selling your data... so here is the result: another good app, unusable, and in the trash. This is just terrible business practice. Like I said, its an app going in the trash when id be more then willing to pay a fair price to own it forever (and I wouldnt want stupid cloud features I have plenty of storage and even space on icloud). If people are fine with this, then good for you. There are countless other options so ill pick something else. Show more

Imagine prepping for one moment at the gym, pushing as hard as you can, finally hitting a PR. You hit stop recording then you get an error message saying to restart the camera. You check the cache. Nothing. Gone App only works about 20-30% of the time. Not worth the failure rate Show more

I love using the ZEPETO app but when I post something I want to use music from Apple Music this app is just what I needed it records music playing in the background so this was super helpful I LOVE THIS APP Show more

I was going to purchase the full app but the way the app holds your video hostage unless you download the game app and then your video deletes itself! Definitely a no for me Show more

The app regularly crashes after recording short videos, failing to save and losing whatever you may have recorded. Pass on this one and find an app that performs its basic functions. Show more

I use and iPhone xmax , after saving 2 videos in my gallery the videos won’t play . Ones 3 minutes long the other 4 minutes . When I click on the video to play this comes up: “ unable to play video, an error occurred please try again later” All my other videos that are recorded through my normal camera function normally. I know it’s the app videos not working Show more

Please fix the record button I can’t tell you how many times I hit record thinking I’m actually recording something then I find out it didn’t this so frustrating to me otherwise this app is great Show more

I press record hear it then stop it, save it and no music.

The app crashes without warning. I had to buy the app originally and now if you want any of their better features you have to pay a monthly subscription. A waste of money and a less than worthwhile investment. Show more
