Easy and quick to use, would be nice if you could change the layout to a tile layout instead of a list though.

I cant even set it up without it crashing every 10 min

App keeps crashing, when I tried to send the crash report, oddly enough, crashes AGAIN. Frustrating.

I use this when doing PA and music for my daughter's high school softball games, and find it to be invaluable. Its great to be able to adjust levels, fade in, fade out, and set hotkeys/shortcuts per song. There are a couple of bugs that I noticed... 1) Sometimes, the hotkeys/shortcuts don't work (instead of the song/sound, you get the os alert sound). It seems to happen if you have a lot of songs/sounds on your board because I didn't encounter it until I had added 30 or so songs. When this happens, I have observed that if you simply scroll down to your last sound, and then back up to your first sound, the bug seems to go away. 2) Sometimes, when you reorder songs, the user interface reflects the reordering that you just made, but when you click on a song to play it, it plays the song that was previously in that spot. If you save your board, close and restart the app, everything works fine, so as long as you know to save and restart, this also is not a big deal. 3) When I load my board using "open recent", I get an error "there was an error opening the selected file". However, I just dismiss the prompt and everything works fine and so not a big deal at all, but thought I would mention it in case the developer would like to know. Lastly, don't let these minor bugs discourage you from using this app. It is a great value in my opinion, and absolutely gets the job done. If you need an easy to use app for playing songs, sound fx, drops, etc. and you don't want to spend a lot of money, this could be a good fit for sure. One last thing... I just read some of the other reviews that mention that it crashes. For what its worth, it has not crashed on me a single time. Show more

I needed a way to easily get to a few dozen sound files, and SoundBoard does this quickly, inexpensively, relatively easily, and without too many oddities. But I would pay extra to remove the l33t boi speak on its buttons and labels. The first time I saw it I thought it was kinda funny and cute, and then went to the preferences to turn it off. Nope, you're stuck with it. "F4d3 !n Dur4t!0n" gets old. Show more

Just paid $4.00. App crashes everytime I save my soundboard. Lost all of that time organizing each sound with this app. Unreal.

I downloaded it. I didn't even get out of the tutorial before it crashed. I rebooted it and it crashed again.

I spent an hour building a board and when I went to save it the program crashed and lost everything. I went back into the app and started again, adding a few clips, and it still crashed. Fix these bugs, people paid for this app. (Also the lack of a keyboard layout is frustrating) Show more

After updating to Catalina, SoundPlant no longer worked. Not wanting to wait for an eternity for an upgrade I found this gem. Worked perfectly with my bluetooth number pad and super easy to learn. Did crash a couple of times when saving to a subfolder within the desktop but no problem when saving directly to the desktop. All my sounds were saved when reopening the file even after moving the file to a subfolder. Only problem I found is that the program closes after saving, a minor inconvenience. Other then that, I am very happy with this purchase. Show more

Can’t believe I paid $10 for this app. The concept is good but it is very, very basic and has crashed three times in the same number of minutes. Even without crashing an app this basic should not be $10. How do I get my money back? Show more

I’m just getting started, but finding this program to be a little buggy. Frequent crashes upon saving (which means that work creating a board is lost), correct sound files not playing,etc. I have great hopes about some new features being added, and some of these bugs being worked out (probably the cat’s fault). I realize this is a 1.0 release, but I can’t add an MP3 file (OS X El Capitan) because the “Ok” button is always grayed out. Clicking on the support link leads to a blank web page as well. Basically, my $4.99 is completely wasted until this is fixed. Show more
