    Looks good so far
I do like the interface. Maybe Coltrane changes would be difficult

    Great app
But is there a way to change the virtual instruments from strings to maybe guitar or a different piano. Etc

Only idiots ask for a review before you can
Only idiots demand reviews before you can get a chance to experience the product....

    Brilliant!!
There are a lot of iOS apps for songwriting, but this one is truly unique - and highly useful! Ingenious use of graphics to both inform and control the process, which fosters creativity and inspiration. And if you’re a bit weak on proper music theory, using this app will really help you learn by doing. Show more

    Acually is a chord finder
I’ve tried 10 other chord charting apps but they are all limited to only one key or only major and minor. This app lets you experiment with all chords. Sorry not a music major so I can’t explain really well but this app has more of a range of notes to experiment with and save chords you make as presets. Show more

    Does not compute¿
Select a chord and watch as the chord becomes the new tonic. Usually, a few more rules are needed to setup a tonal area. Among a few choice subdominant minor chords decide on one. Before the phrase is finished there are as many new tonic as there are chord changes. As clever as the system is, a setup to show relationships of the old key to the new or the new tonic to the old. When the Roman numerals show up the expectation for a discernible pattern to be drawn. Hearing the changes while in a search for harmony that fits, may train the ear to listen for the progression better. I just need more to make me believe I have a clue of what's going on. One of the examples had upper structures which was cool but I don't know how that was accomplished. Show more

Awesome App, once you learn how to use it.

    Mathematical chord progressions made easy
Found a great progression less than a minute of using the app. Easy to navigate and understand. It is useful to find progressions, but it lacks MIDI export. MIDI export would be the reason I purchase the full version. Though I may just buy it anyway to support the developer. Show more

Crashes on 2018 iPad Pro 12.9”
The app looks like it’s going to open and immediately crashes without allowing anything to be pressed

This is an essential app for any serious IOS musician.
First, I want to thank the developer for allowing us to try this amazing app before buying it. Now, I know I will buy the full version on payday. But i wanted to review it as I know this helps many other folks considering it. If you are reading this, the first thing you need to do, is download it. You will love it! I immediately went to the Pads screen and selected Choirs for the sound patch playing. Oh my! The sound of the Choir patch is incredible for a free trail app. Not only that, you can select a totally different patch for the main on screen keyboard. I love the ability to rapidly press panic if anything is out of whack, which hasn't happened, but its nice to know its there. The developer is fully involved in receiving feedback and also providing feedback over at the AudiBus forum. Google it and there you will be amazed at how much other users can teach you and how the developer is seeking to assist with making this app the very best app for chords and for many other uses you can think of. For me, being a one man band type of musician, i love the idea of just using the ipad to play several synths in reatime. For one, I like using Midiband 3.1 and i plan to use Navichord to trigger variation changes, chord changes, and even play a melody all from one single app controlling Midiband. That to me is huge!!! I know not many folks know about Midiband, but it is available in the app store for pennies. It turns your iPad into a full blown arranger keyboard workstation. And Navichord is going to make it even sweeter. I cant wait for all the updates that are planned for the amazing app. I will buy the full version for sure! Show more
