Love the app waiting for a new update

I really do love this app. As a person who keeps their music local on device and organized it’s a godsend to have a normal audio player without all the store nonsense in the way. Thank you for making this golden app. But the icon color changes are broken and now it looks wrong on my screen… I’m devastated. Thank you either way for a great app! ;) Show more

This has been my music app of choice since Apple Music’s big redesign mire than half a decade ago. I still think it’s superior to the built-in app and any alternatives I’ve found, but this praise has a big caveat: the app appears to no longer be supported. There are several major issues that I’ve tried to report to the developer (punctuation breaks search, you can’t select artists or albums from search results) with no response, the “official” support page is a twitter account with no activity in the past year, and the developer website no longer exists at all. All apps lose support eventually, so I can’t complain too much, especially at this price point. I just wish the developer had made it clear he’d moved on so I knew to start hunting for an alternative. Show more

This could be a great app. I love nearly everything about its design and UX. However the app immediately crashes when you use AirPlay to broadcast to an external speaker, which makes it unusable for me. This did not occur previously so I’m not sure what changed. Also this seems to have started happening around the iPadOS 16 release so there may be some interaction there. Until fixed, though, I have to revert to the native Music app. Update: After some experimentation, this issue seems to be specific to AirPlay with a HomePod Mini. The app behaves fine when I use a non-Apple speaker. The fault could well lie with the HomePod rather than Cs. Show more

Still have to use crappy iTunes to sync to this app. Functionality to like/love a song is missing. Just turn off Apple Music plus nonsense and use Apple Music.

Just download the app like the interface the only problem I have is every time I use the control panel are now playing it reverts back to the Apple Music player.Is there someway you can fix that on one of your updates otherwise I like the app. Show more

Uncluttered and straightforward. I'll give you $5 for a handful of widgets.

This app is much better organized than Apple Music, but it has some annoying bugs. The worst of them all is the tendency to reset the repeat play mode (no repeat, repeat all, repeat one) seemingly at random. After poking around it seems like it forgets what you last set it to when you kill the app, restart the phone, or - sometimes - switch from playing playlists to playing albums. When it does this, it defaults back to whatever Apple Music app was last set to. The workaround is to start Apple Music and change the repeat play mode there to your preferred default (e.g., repeat all). Since I did that, I no longer have the app randomly revert to repeat one! I just purchased this app. I would actually like a refund. I use forward skip to next song and delete this song actions. Trying to navigate around to find this option, it hung up one only the song that was playing. I went back to the mediocre Apple Player. I am a computer savvy person and have been very able to navigate through the Apple Player areas to perform tasks; which are plenteous, if not obvious until you find what to do. Show more

Doesn’t play music. Period.

Apr ‘22: Still loving the app. Is there a way to rewind or fast forward 15 seconds? Apr ‘21: just downloaded v6. After it being unusable for a while, I can use the app again! So glad I didn’t delete it. Well done. Don’t forget to tip, folks! Feb 16: Again, excellent app. One request: It would be nice to quickly see what was recently played. Now, you have to play a song, then touch the queue icon. Instead, I would like to have a Queue icon that can be placed on my bottom menu - I would get rid of the Artists icon, which I never use. Thanks for a great product. Edit Feb 8: Thank you for adding back in the convenient search field! Works great. Now, with the latest update I the fed/back buttons get stuck. Also, it’s sometimes hard to find the currently playing song - it randomly disappears from the bottom of the screen. Still loving the app! 1st review: Love it. But please add back the ability to search from any screen by pulling down to reveal the search bar. Searching now requires more steps than it did before. Otherwise, I love it. I switched over when I was no longer able to view lyrics in the apple music app. This app solved that issue, so I'm a fan. Show more

App has been super glitchy the last few weeks. Tracks that should flow seamlessly into each other have a slight delay. Also, when typing in the search bar to find any given track the app completely crashes. Needs an update pronto Show more

The description says “radio stations” Their are no radio stations I will be asking for a refund

I like the app except IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE A SONG FROM A PLAYLIST. I don’t understand how this simple feature could’ve been overlooked. There are no instructions to explain if there is a way to do this. The app support link goes to Twitter. The developer’s website link goes to Twitter. I don’t know how to reach anyone who will explain to me how to remove a song from a freaking playlist and I’m about to delete the app because of it!!! Show more

I like the app better than Apple Music. However there seems to be no way to get support. The support link goes to a Twitter page and the link to the developer’s website is dead. Show more

The app works well and I much prefer it to the Apple Music app. Still, it has some strange quirks. Unfortunately there seems to be no way to receive support for it. Clicking the link to support takes you the a Twitter page. If you are not on Twitter, there seems to be no way to contact the developer. The link listed for his website does not work. Show more

Only shows songs that you've purchased and downloaded....

I absolutely love this music player. I ask just one tweak, can we get the large artwork in landscape mode again? That would make it complete for me.

I updated app and regretted it. Now it’s all blank—- everything is gone.
