I used this app extensively on my DTX502 modules. (I have 2.) Since the 14.3 upgrade, the app now dies as soon as it tries to make a midi connection with either of my modules. Prior to the 14.3 update I would have rated this as FIVE stars. Can’t downgrade my iPad, so I’m having to use an old iPhone for this app now. Which is a PITA. So one star now. Yamaha, Please fix this app. Show more

With the latest iOS the app crashes every time I open it!!!!

Don’t know how to connect it can’t find a manual??

Please update the App. It crashes immediately since the last iOS update in November. The app is critical to using the module, because the module interface itself is difficult to navigate. FIX THE APP!!!!!!!!!!!! Show more

iPhone X and iPhone 7, the app crashes as soon as I connect to DTX502. Latest version as of Dec 2020.

Try to use 502 Touch but app crashes before updating firmware. iOS 14.2. All other related apps work fine but this one. Now there is no way to update module firmware except through an app that keeps crashing. Show more

Unable to use this app with the latest update for IPhone. Please fix I’ve always used this for my dtx set.

Since the apple 14.2 update I can’t go on the app every time I open it crashes please fix!

Everything is cool....except for the website part. I have ONLY been able to 1) make an account and 2) get approved for a password, but every time I click on login....NOTHING. It just reloads the “login” screen over and over and brings me back to the “welcome to DTXdrums!” page. This app sure had a lot of promise...so far I’ve not been satisfied with the website portion of this. PLEASE fix it! Show more

Best App ever really help me understanding it and more really appreciate the app cause it works to have your sound from the DAW to your phone or pad!!!

The app fits iPhone screens but not iPads. Needs graphic update to fit iPad properly in portrait and landscape.

Even though the DRX502 module has the same embedded learning software as the DTX402 module the DTX502 Touch app developers failed to include the companion learning interface that’s in the DTX402 Touch app. Very disappointing for all beginners as the DTX502 module can only offer a very low resolution LCD display when using using the embedded learning functions. I’ve been using the DTX502TOUCH for some time now. I had to find a device which allowed me to play in smaller venues with mixed age groups having different ear skills. As a result I struggled through the transition. Last month I rediscovered the DTX502TOUCH app. In the past two weeks studying and practicing different stacks and fades, I was able to get something I love even more. The muffling helps when your in ears and the live stage is vastly different. Helps with different sound boards. Played with the reverb a bit. Had some challenges with Pad 8 which I use as a forth Tom, then I went into Midi Keys and sort of balanced that out. I’m having fun with this very in depth free app. Haven’t unboxed the DTX700 yet which I thought would make the issues disappear. I just needed to get my head into the app. Show more

This app is garbage! It tells me to update and I do the update steps and it doesn’t do any! How long is it suppose to update for?

This is a good app, but is not updated for the 1.3 firmware. The new DT50 triggers don't show up in the trigger menu.

This app is really cool. I'm so happy with my drum kit _ DTX 522_ and now with this app is so much interactive and easy to work. Great job!! Carlos Chaves

At first I was very concerned about the LCD display of the sound controller until I downloaded this app. This app provides functionality required for basic control without memorizing multikey selections or scrolling through preset sets. Hopefully future renditions will include the built-in training modules. iPhone or iPad friendly. Show more
