i have had this app for over a year and loved it! all the features are so cool! when i was changing my desktop, i edited the size to large to see how it would look. it is now stuck in the upper right corner of my screen and i have no way to press the 3 dots to open the setting screen (i have the application locked in position). is there anyway to fix this? Love it. Simple, with multiple size options. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star review would be that I would LOVE to be able to "like" a song from spotify from the player (not sure if the Spotify API Allows this though). Having that would improve my listening while working workflow so that I don't have to toggle to spotify while coding to like a song. Show more

Small, fairly unobtrusive, and most importantly, it actually works with Spotify on current MacOS versions (2022). Shows track, artist, album, album art, controls, playback bar. Multiple sizes! Menu bar icon! A lot of good effort and love in this app. Show more

I love listening to music while I work and this has saved me so much trouble from fuzzing with music players/ switching windows. I use the "always on top" feature which is super convient and I haven't had the player be an annoyance. The customization options? Wow. Colors, sizes, display options, show/hide desk icon, lock position, show/hide track info, not to mention customizable shortcuts. I haven't connected Last.fm yet but I love that that's an option as well. Some apps out there are duds, but this is compatiable with seemingly all music players and does not dissapoint! Thank you! The app does exactly what I need it for: to see what music is currently being played. Very nonintrusive, clean look, just works.

Imagine a media player that doesn't play media. You don't have to, it's the Silicio Mini Player.

I like having the skip and pause on the side while I do homework or online shop.

I like having this app running in the background so I can quickly skip or pause/play my music, plus I can see the album art of whatever I'm playing.

Nice lite music player that connects to the major music platforms but my biggest gripe is that I want to play music on my local drive and must go through itunes for that. I avoid itunes at all cost so this app is out for me. Show more

Does exactly what I want it to. Shows a little window (three sizes) with album art and basic controls (on hover). Minimal resource usage.

I love this app. It's straightforward to use and customize. The design looks great. It also shows all the info I want (album cover, song name, artist name, play/pause controls, and progress bar) in the small but organized space. I do have one question though. When I go full screen to watch a video on YouTube on Chrome, or full screen on an app, the miniplayer stays on top of everything. Is there a way to keep the player stay on top of everything EXCEPT when I switch to full screen mode with a program? For reference, I am on the 2022 M2 MacBook Air. Thanks devs! Show more

Works like you'd expect.

Apple Music's MiniPlayer has been problematic at best for a while now. It also annoyingly takes away the main music window. Silicio is the perfect replacement! It has many great customization options and looks great on the desktop. Thanks for this app! Show more
