    No more privacy option
Newest update was to remove privacy option, which is now no longer offered in the updated version. I deleted the app. This app lost its honor.

    Garbage
Doesn’t use headphones. If you want to travel and not be loud in public don’t get this trash.

    Can't save songs
Impossible for me to save my finished songs. Email and "save to files" both do nothing.

    Lots of fun
This is pretty easy to use to make some music. I am not majored in music, but I can still create some funny stuff with this. Just make a try!

Go ahead if u wanna waste yo $
This is the first time I've ever delete something I paid for If it works like however they advertise. Especially, their commercial was trap because it was like telling innocent kids that they could fly in the air and shoot fireball if you put your mind to it lol. The bottom line is that it sounded too good to be true to have such features for only 4.99 Show more

Good composition but loses chord names
This app is just for fun only. It does not have accurate input capture of the notes from whistle or voice. It is about 40% accurate. It also loses the chord names upon re-loading a saved song. The auto composition comes up with interesting melodies which can be used as a starting idea. Show more

    Great idea, terrible app.
It's sad because the app is fun to use and produces some decent results. However the insane UI and bugs make it practically unusable. The only export option is .mp4 which is pretty useless to those who want to modify the music. Apparently the app has MIDI out capability, but I don't have the hardware to test it. Worst of all is the app does not re-load the chords from a save file. It will play the song and show the melody line, but not the chords! If the devs add midi export, many of the goofy UI choices would at least be tolerable. But without it this app is at best frustrating to use. Show more

    Whistle recognition very poor
If my own sub-par whistling were to blame, I could understand it. But trying to capture the tune from the opening of the "Twisted Nerve" song from Kill Bill - very clear whistling only - the notes captured were nothing like the notes whistled. I would increase the rating quite a bit if the recognition were fixed. Show more

    Very buggy app
If the obvious bugs can be fixed it could be fun. As it is I had to delete it to avoid calamity.

    Terrible pitch recognition, interface
I'm a musician and got this for a toy. The pitch recognition is crap. Didn't recognize four quarter notes whistled at the same pitch. The interface is a mess, too. Wouldn't use it even if it was free, let alone $3. Show more

    Fail
The main function of whistling a tune into the composer simply doesn't work. I tried for 30 minutes using varied ways of trying to get it to recognize my tune and it failed. A couple of shut downs and one time it generated a tone that would stop even when I closed the app. Show more

    Almost
This is fun to play with and really has a lot of potential. I've used it to generate three "songs" and by adjusting the settings I can get good results. The biggest problem I see is that the songs you save do not include most of your settings. Yes it saves the notes, but what about everything else? Tempo? Instrument selections? It's almost like starting from scratch when you load something you saved. Of course songs you export are locked in with all your settings as you would expect. Lots of other glitches make this seem like something that was released in beta. Still, if they clean this up it will be great. Show more

Okay, well it's a mixed review
I was really looking forward to using this program as advertised, but there is no relationship between the tune I whistle and the notes that appear on the phone. I will say though, typing some random notes into the program and asking it to "write a song" is really funny and very entertaining. I'm still mad about the whistling thing, but I may get my money's worth out of this program yet. Show more

    Fun!
This app is just fantastic! Loads of fun, seems to capture all kinds of styles and come up with all sorts of interesting stuff.

    Work in Progress?
Chordata seemed like a great idea, so I thought I'd give it a try. It seemed to work well at first, but then went downhill. For example, I saved two songs, but when the app asks if I want to load one and I say yes, it goes to the main screen but the song is not loaded. Then, after a few attempts to record another song, it crashes I the middle of playback. Keep at it, Casio...maybe this will be pretty awesome eventually, but I'm not sold yet. (P.S., how about a Classical option for song type?) Show more

    Does not function. Period.
Does not ask for microphone access on the iPhone 6+ running iOS 8.1.3 and it simply does not work. It tells me to press the record button to begin recording the motif yet, does not record any inputed sound. Would not recommend purchasing until you are actually able to use the app. Show more

    Does not work!
Far from what I was whistling.
