This app succeeds at providing authentic C64 sounds and also provides a streamlined creation experience. I have one major complaint: the app does not display horizontally / landscape mode on iPad Pro 12.9 inch displays. This makes composition on the touch screen impossible as you end up sliding the app window off screen or dragging the app bar or other windows over the already small piano keys. To the developer: PLEASE add landscape display as soon as possible. I ordered a $100+ midi keyboard to work around this. Show more

Great app but please add horizontal landscape support for 12.9 inch iPads. Too awkward to use in portrait mode!

By far The Best SID tracker on iPad. May very well also be the only SID tracker on iPad, but that’s irrelevant - you don’t need anything else. Great piece of software with fantastic sound and smooth UI. Highly recommended! Show more

This app is amazing! I wish it could have an emulated 6581 R3 or 6581 R4. Otherwise impressive!

Disregard my previous review. I was using an iPad 12.9 inch and landscape view isn’t supported on it. Using a 9.7 iPad and I’m fine.

As someone with an iPad Pro, I would love to give SidTracker 5 stars. I love how much potential this app has. For a tracker, it is very fun to use—but I find holding the 12” iPad in portrait mode while working to be a pain. If it was possible to toggle between portrait and landscape mode, then this app would be perfect. Aside from that however, I have no complaints. This app is just what I’ve been looking for to produce chiptune songs, and probably the most learner-friendly tracker I’ve come across so far. Definitely a keeper! Show more

I love it! Works great with the Fishman Tripleplay guitar synth.

Works well, and does what it does. I wonder if you can make other 8-bit music trackers, like the NES, Game Boy / Game Boy Color, etc.

I'm giving this 5 stars because I don't know how this is allowed in the App Store... but here it is. I would have paid like $15+ for something like this. I hope more trackers will be made for iOS. Show more

The app works well and the sounds are good. If you don't know how to use a tracker, there are videos which show you how. The only area where there is room for improvement is in the MIDI implementation. It'd be nice to have virtual MIDI selectable by channel per voice. Show more

$13 is entirely too cheap. The amount of musical inspiration I felt during the first 30 secs of using SidTracker64 can only be equated to what it feels like to play a multi-thousand dollar, finely crafted, precision musical instrument. If you have had the chance to play on good gear, you will know what I am talking about. Well done! Show more
