New WMI-1 arrived today and app still does not recognize it. I’m able to connect to the devices WiFi signal but the app is unable to find it, so it’s useless. I’ve already started the return process for the WMI-1. Such a shame. Show more

I was very disappointed to see that the WMI app did not work with IOS 14 a few months ago. I’ve held off on reviewing the app since I heard that HK was working on the issue. Now that the bug has been worked out, the app works great. I’m now able to fully control my Grandmeister 40 Deluxe via iPad. I’m also currently on iOS version 14.3 Hope this helps anyone looking to decide on getting the WMI-1. I have the WMI-1 unit set to AP Client which generates it own personal WiFi network. I have not yet tried the other method that makes it part of your local WiFi network. Show more

iOS 14 killed all connections to WMI-1 module. Doesn’t work in WiFi mode or stand alone. This kills your connection to all GM control apps, rendering both obsolete. After long emails with H&K there doesn’t seem to be a solution. Basically denying there’s an issue on their end. Hmmm I’ve also been in contact with iOS team, and all solutions failed. You may want to rethink buying an amp, if this feature was part of your choice to buy from H&K. JS Update...Connection issue resolved Show more

Same as everyone else’s upgrade...it was really a downgrade to frustration. Very disappointed in Apple and Hughes & Kettner. I had invested in the whole setup, new iPad, WMI-1, GM40 and now regret the whole thing. It’s very frustrating since WiFi issues have been known for quite some time on the Apple side and H&K for not supporting their products better. I had worked on presets for months and now are useless with no fix in sight. My conversation with H&K and Apple was less than comforting and I will be looking to other brands to invest my time and money in...sadly. Show more

Just upgraded my IPad to OS 14 and now I am not able to connect the WMI-1. This makes the WMI-1 a waste of money. I hope this gets addressed Grandmeister Deluxe 40 worked great with the IPad. Can no longer save sets this is a problem. Show more

I know this is an apple issue as well as an app issue but I’ve had my amp for a few months now I have a useless $200 dongle and can no longer switch inputs on my amp. Show more
