    Needs better categories
The graphics are fine. But the app is missing an entire category of chord from the drop down list - “Dominant”. And the chords that are shown when “Maj” is selected the chords shown are not Maj 7th but Dom 7th. There’s a big difference, for example, between a C7 and a CMaj7 chord but when I select "C | Maj | 7" - what I get is pictures of a C dominant 7 (C7). This also applies to the 9th chords. It might be easy to remedy for the developers so I look forward to future versions. But for someone wanting the correct chord - it’s not so good. Show more

    Some stuff is weird
So some stuff is presented weird. Like the open chords use the 2nd fret rather than the nut to reference fingering. I’ve never seen that before, so it takes some getting used to. Show more

    Guitar Chord Compass
Touch the tool bar at top and the app freezes. Not recommended to try.

    All Strings Only
There's no way to silence strings or choose what string the root starts on. I'll be returning this soon.

    Good Idea But Limited Usefulness
No problem with the graphics. Like the idea of being able to resize and copy and paste to my editor, but cannot edit a chord to add or delete notes to show only the notes to be played. Also, the chord options do not include split chords, which would be a plus. These two improvements would definitely move my rating higher. Show more

    Better than expected
True it’s a bit pixilated, but who cares when you’re looking for a playable chord in a particular position. I’d been looking for weeks for such a usuable chord in a difficult spot for a jazz standard solo. Opened the program, entered the chord, clicked on the fret I needed—presto!—I was able to add another composition to my repertoire. When you don’t have time to try every conceivable combination of the notes of a chord you need, this app will do the job for you. Worth the five-buck price (regardless of somewhat poor pixelation) in my book. Show more

    Not worth $5
Graphics look really bad and pixelated, interface is not intuitive and there is a bunch of advertising for other apps. To me it’s not worth the $5 I paid for it. Show more
