Does what it says but slightly limited
This app is very good for playing backing tracks and I like the features it provides, however, I have two gripes: 1. The in-app purchases are on the nickel-and-diming side on things. Each upgrade is worth it, and they are well listed and described, however, I was surprised by the shear amount of them. I was expecting an unlock all features option. I get it though, the developers deserve compensation, and it is necessary to keep adding updates and features. 2. Only being able to output to channel 1 and 2 of an interface is a massive disadvantage. I was expecting to be able to select whichever outputs were necessary for a more complex setup. This limitation forces you to change your workflow to match what the app wants, instead of working the other way around. That’s a real downer and I hope it is addressed in the future. Despite those two gripes, and some interface issues on modern iPhones (I’m looking at you performance mode’s close arrow), this is a pretty solid app that gets the job done. Show more

Apple Watch compatibility would make this a five star app
Otherwise great for our little band but that feature would really make it work. Just the ability to pause and skip tracks in the basic music player would really be all you need. Show more

Good app. Use frequently: feature requests
What would be nice is a playlist feature that you add seconds between tracks and auto play. For busking this would be great; the musician does not have to choose the next song manually but setup a customized playlist flow to jam with. Show more

Pretty good - would like some changes
I love that you can change the key. I wish I’m set mode you’d allow us to string certain songs together so there’s nonstop though. Like a real bad gig, every song shouldn’t be a sop at the end. I also wish we could trim by time as well as bar. Great app though, best I’ve seen for my needs. Show more

Perfect for Running My Backing Tracks
I play guitar and play out in various band configurations. Sometimes full band but often with a keyboard player and solo. I use this live and for rehearsals to play backing tracks when I don't have live drums and bass or keys. I create backing tracks in BIAB. I pan drums left, bass right so I can adjust volume levels. Files import easily and quickly via Mac Finder. I previously used another app but it is no longer updated and ShowOne is easier to use. I regularly update just a few files and this app makes it easy to update the set lists. It lets me focus on playing music! Show more

Update: Problem solved! ??Something happened and now...
UPDATE: After communicating with the team for several weeks they were able to fix this problem with the newest update to 1.5 and now integrated to the iPad. I love this app! I’ve been using it for 4 hrs now. Love that it runs in the background while being able to view charts or adjust my in ear mix. It does it seamlessly. Highly recommend and is super easy and the workflow is fantastic! This was a great workhorse app but now is failing. Whenever trying to create a “Set” the app closes/quits. Everything is updated and has been deleted and redownloaded several times and is still failing. I’ve done reboots, hard resets and closed all other apps. I’ve deleted all tracks and rebooted from “restore” and still fails whenever I push “Set” to create one on both the iPad and iPhone. Super bummed out. Show more

    Battery Hog
Deleted because of battery usage. I see the developer had a response that it’s intentional but it ate up 80% of my battery with background usage before I noticed. Was a fun little surprise so it had to go. Show more

    Awesome App and Great Support
This app is truly amazing! I love how it can send 4 channels of audio and splits the click track for ear monitor mixing! The feature in the app that allows you to connect a Bluetooth MIDI device and control track playback is awesome. When I first purchased the app there was an issue with Bluetooth connectivity. However, the support team answered my questions quickly and they had an app update out within days to resolve the bug. You must get this app if you are a touring artist that plans on using backing tracks!! I highly recommend!!! Show more

    Just what I need
Perfect, simple app for playing with backing tracks live. Putting sets together is a breeze. Works for live-streams too!

    Update 2
I found a bug in the app. When I choose my own click sound, the next time I open the app, the sound changes back to the default click sound. It happens everytime I open the app. Can you please fix this bug? Thank you. Show more

    Started great but ..........
This app seemed cool at first. I liked the idea of generating clicks for tunes that didn’t have tracks. However, the upload process is tedious, a few times the click ended up on left and right, the Back up function doesn’t work, there’s no iPad version, and support can’t be reached. I’ve updated, and tried to work around things, but trusting work to this app isn’t a good idea. If this was made by Musician’s, they must be out gigging instead of tending to this app. Too bad as it was promising. Show more

    GREAT APP and Support!
I’ve been using the ShowOne app since it was originally released. Throughout the years I’ve used an Instant Replay machine and a Roland TD30 w USB stick to play my backing tracks and in-ear clicks. When I discovered ShowOne I figured I would give it a try. I was overly impressed with the simplicity and functionality of the app. It’s all I use now. It has never failed to deliver during a live performance. Since the initial release of ShowOne the developers have introduced updates with very useful features. This app constantly continues to get better. From time to time I may have a question for the support team and they respond very quickly. They are an awesome group with a great, inexpensive app that will make your live shows go smoothly. Download ShowOne and explore the many features and I’m sure you’ll be satisfied! J⚡️Bomb Show more

    Great app, Easy to use!
Have been using this app for full band gigs running some extra loops and such in the background and it’s worked great!

That iPhone in your pocket really is a computer
I was skeptical. I knew I could play quality backing tracks from my MacBook Pro, but from my iPhone? QUALITY tracks? With ShowOne you can. And this app is the first app I’ve experienced to really use the COMPUTER capacity of the iPhone. I used ShowOne live tonight and it did great. Just get all the recommended connectors and you’re good to go. So far I’m just running ShowOne straight to my mixer (through a passive DI box). Will be trying the USB connection to my Focusrite soon. Getting .wav files onto the iPhone is a piece of cake. Just be careful when you import the tracks into ShowOne that you input the tempo right. (I thought I’d read that if the tempo is in the file name, ShowOne would automatically assign tempo, but I must be doing something wrong. That said, having the tempo is the file name is very helpful when importing a ton of tracks: the tempo is right there and you don’t need to go looking.) And finally, a super-easy click track option! I’d given up trying to find workable a click-track set-up — I’m not a professional musician, so wanted something simple and not expensive — but now I have one! Seriously awesome. And the support-folk responsiveness noted in other reviews is spot on. Had a basic question and... zing, got an answer straight-away. Friendly too. My big hope: future editions of ShowOne don’t become so “professional” and complicated that the ease-of-use disappears. I like the current “buy the complexity you want” ladder. One I’ve mastered the Basic level, I may step up to the 4-channel option. (I see the possibilities.) In sum: awesome quality backing track player with click track option. Great folks standing behind it. What’s not to love? Mahalo nui loa from Honolulu. Show more

    Not worth 30 dollars
If you get the upgrades, you are looking at $30. It does not even have an iPad format. No landscape mode. What is this developer thinking. Practically crippled as downloaded.
