    C’mon Harman/JBL
This should be a wonderful speaker and in many ways it is. However, Harman have abandoned it following a v1.0 software release. Updates could have added functionality or better UI. Heck,I would love to pay for additional features in my Eon 610. Seems like one needs to research a manufacturer’s commitment to product support/software updates before buying any sort of app-based speaker. I regret that I blindly trusted Harman/JBL would continue support for their product. I think Mackie has a better reputation, but look for yourself and as customers, let’s start insisting on better support for what we buy. Show more

    Needs work
EON connect does a decent at upgrading the speakers. Be aware that build 70 can lock you out from adding the speakers to the network. Once you add the speakers leave them there. I removed mine and now none of them come up in the scan anymore. The network tab shows them as not being part of the network. JBL customer rep suggested a speaker factory reset by powering the speaker with Boot and EQ buttons pressed and waiting for the LEDs to flash. This made the speakers ready to be paired again. The app should release the speakers as unpaired to avoid a factory reset. The app should also provide a help page detailing the factory reset procedure as this would be handy in other situations. Waste of time
Bring that speaker back to whatever you bought it, and stop wasting time and money

    Reset Speaker First
If you can’t connect do this: Turn off power switch. Hold down EQ+ and Boot buttons while turning the power back on. Wait until all LED’s start flashing before releasing the buttons. After the speaker fully boots up, Push the Bluetooth button once to light the blue LED. Open the App and push the + symbol. Your speaker should show up. Select it. Now, one of the four round icons should show your speaker model number. Push that icon and you should see the speaker control home page. Done! You can now add up to four speakers by the same process. Once speakers are added, you shouldn’t need to reset each speaker again. Other than difficulty connecting the first time, this is a great app for users of the JBL Eon 600 series. It is an app for controlling the speaker - NOT for streaming music over Bluetooth. You can’t stream music to these speakers without buying an external Bluetooth module from other vendors. Show more

App does nothing besides connects to the speaker…can’t even play anything

    HOT TRASH!
The app takes a while to connect then disconnects after a matter of seconds and is near impossible to reconnect, while leaving whatever changes you made in effect. In my case, I slid the volume fader around and it stuck at 100 and disconnected, and now the hiss from the speaker is much more present and won’t go away without a reset and reconnect to the app. geat idea, terrible execution, Needs improvement! Confounding
I’ve tried this app on several devices, it worked briefly once. Why even advertise this as a feature?

    App doesn’t work
App not working. Is a complete mess, I don’t know how is possible that JBL have apps that don’t work at all

    Horrendous
This is a very frustrating app for a terrific speaker. Good luck getting this to connect. I have tried iPhone and Android to no avail. I have watched all the videos and followed their instructions. Only once did I connect. JBL should be ashamed. This should be a simple application. Perhaps there is a problem with firmware. Too bad Eon Connect can’t access the speaker for a firmware update. Avoid this app unless you enjoy being frustrated. Show more

    Meh
Nice concept, but kinda bummed out knowing that the only Bluetooth feature is the “mixer” and no music streaming. Also, the connection is weak as well, and it disconnects in a matter of minutes if you leave the app. Show more

    Average Stars = 1.4 / Bluetooth doesn’t stream music!
First something is wrong with Apple’s stars!! There are 31 Reviews totaling 43 stars given. Most are 1 Star! With an average of 1.4! The App is a Nice feature for sound techs but no useful purpose for the 99% who thought you would be able to stream music to the speaker. Really shady of JBL to not tell you anywhere that it doesn’t stream music... Oh, but wait, if they they told you, then no one would buy it!!! DEVELOPER: Your constant reply of the same response is an indication of JBL’s poor instructions and inadequate communications. Show more

    What bluetooth?
So even though it has eq settings on the amp itself, they feel the need to put unnecessary mixing capabilities on this app instead of just connecting me to the speaker via bluetooth :0) Absolutely useless. Show more

    Disappointing
The Bluetooth connectivity has nothing to do with streaming music directly to the speaker, but that is not mentioned in the product description - very disappointing. Isn’t that that what Bluetooth allows you to do, stream music to a device? That’s why I got this speaker - Bummer! The app gives some control over the speaker settings which is a great idea, but the EQ screen for example is so small you can barely read to adjust parameters. Speaker itself sounds fine. Show more

    It’s OK
It has the ability to control aspects of the speakers but not as in depth as I expected. It would also be nice to have the ability to link multiple speakers/actions together for the full setup(IE: Change the EQ for multiple speakers at the same time, adjust the volume levels for all speakers at the same time). Don't even bother, I had to reset my speaker because the app messed with the master volume. It doesn't connect! Need lots of work!!!
