    Great app, light on resources
This is probably my most-used plug-in. It's very capable and stable, and it's not a resource hog like some other synths on the app store. Useful for just about any type of electronic music. Show more

This could be the perfect vintage synth app, but it doesn’t receive after touch!
This app is the perfect combination of great vintage synth emulation and ease of use, BUT, it does not receive after touch. Please add this in an update please, and you’ll have perfection! 4 out of 5 stars Aftertouch would make it 5 out of 5 Show more

So basically… I just felt in love with this Synth.
The Distortion in the Oscillators sound so rich and has a clarity to it that it just sparks inspiration in me… Wow! Best sounding synth! I refunded the Volt Synth to buy this and was not disappointed. The app is super clean and each preset I've tried so far sounds so good. - Edit: Please add a multiple midi input setting for this app! I want to use both my Midi Keyboard and Midi Mixer together, but you can only input one at a time. The same for your other app Pure Acid!! Show more

Saved me a lot of money!
I always come back to using this as my main synthesizer on stage. The simplicity and durability of the iPad combined with the great sounds and flexibility have made poison a true go-to for my synth needs. This app has scratched my itch for new gear many times as i often look for gear that does what I am already doing with this. I guess happiness is wanting what you have. Thank you! Show more

    Jacob Haq was right
This is a great synth for uk styles and is light on the cpu... And reasonably deep too! Very pleased with it, is in my go to rack. Don't miss it! Show more

    What a great surprise!
I am a professional musician with 7 albums released globally. My equipment includes the KORG Kronos 2, which sure makes a great controller for a small little pocket synth. Two words sum up my feelings about Poison-202. HUGE & FUN! I am enjoying its incredible amount of presets. All, great! I certainly give this 5 stars and even more if available. Great job, & thank you! Filmless Soundtracks Show more

Got it Day 1 years ago and it’s still in my Top10
Once this app became an auV3 plug-in it was a no brained. Str8 Face Destroyer.

    PLEASE FIX!!
There’s been a bug ever since iOS 14 has been released where it always resets to the init sound after saving (specially Beatmaker 3) This needs to be fixed ASAP

    Just what I wanted
Just the synth I was looking for and at a very attractive price. Definitely will be using this one.

    A seriously ‘sick’ synthesizer
You can create real audio pandemonium with Poison-202 (Apple, again, does what they do best...lose app reviews and fail to put them, like they USED to do, in chronological order.) Only thing that’s done poorly is the note hold feature. It fails to highlight the held keys. For the life of me I fail to understand why a decent note hold feature is so hard for many developers to make. Everything else is well designed and has some awesome presets and well matched components to create some insane sounds! Show more

    Great subtractive synthesis!
I am really enjoying this synth and have to tip my hat to the developer. Programming it is very straight forward and the UI is exactly what I have come to expect from a traditional subtractive synthesizer. The addition of the pitch envelope is indeed a plus. The one thing that I cannot figure out how to do is change the keyboard Octave Range. I see that it changes when I browse through patches so there must be a way to set and save this parameter. I have looked and looked but this function still eludes me. Help! Dmitrij Pavlov responded to your review of Poison-202 Vintage Synthesizer Dmitrij Pavlov "Hello! You can easily change the Octave Range. Tap near the top edge of keyboard, and you will see an octave selector. Scroll it with one finger to move range, or pinch with two fingers to change keys size (zoom)." Show more

    Great synth but design flaws
This synth is a great little package. It has very analog sounding filters that perform excellently. However, the “old school” UI has a few flaws, number one being unison. The synth engine is capable of unison, but there is only one oscillator mode that allows you to use it. For EDM, unison is essential and I strongly believe each oscillator should have fully controllable unison with voice number, mix, and detune. Another mild inconvenience is the lack of a controllable noise oscillator. While the synth has noise there is no envelope or filter. Overall, this little synth has amazing bones, great sound, and a solid start. Show more

    Fantastic !
Other than the physical hardware knobs/sliders one might want, I can’t imagine needing more of a capable analog synth than this. This synth truly covers all the bases and then some ; it’s truly incredible what this app allows an iPhone or iPad to become - sonically, a truly authentic sounding and programmable analog polyphonic synthesizer that can more than hold its own with the Prophets, Moogs and Rolands our there. I used to have gear-lust for a Prophet-6 or an OB-6. Not anymore once I got this app ! Sure, the hardware has more mod routings and boutique features, but I think most people would be hard-pressed to hear the difference between this app and the hardware hotshots in a blind sound test. I’d play this with a Bluetooth controller in a live setting instead of a real analog any day, and save myself $3-4000 in the process. Nothing more in an analog synth is needed now that I have this app ! Bravo ! Show more
