1) We need option to play in background. 2) video need to in horizontal not vertical. 3) remove soft touch option in player.

Great app so far

Needs update, no longer supports background play.

App would be much better if it could be viewed horizontally, not just vertically. I rarely use my iPad in vertical orientation.

It used to work so fine but after new update it won’t respond back anymore

Nothing pops out when i search! Fix it please!

I really liked this app as I could find music videos that were in YouTube and I could play them in the background even if I left the app or my phone was off. But now it doesn’t play if I leave, I have to be in the app and my phone has to be on in order to listen to the music. It’s just another YouTube app with a lot more ads now... Show more

Still does not play in the background. Whatever. Why was it changed? I can’t leave my phone on, it runs the battery down. But don’t worry about it you won’t post this anyway or fix the problem. Show more

This app is amazing, you can listen to any music you want for FREE but their are some downsides such as when you leave the app you have to slide up and continue pressing play until the song actually plays and every once in awhile(like right now)the app will stop working out of no where. I’m trying to search a song to listen to and it just keeps going back to the search bar.? Can you please fix that minor issue?? Show more

This app was working perfectly for me until the recent update. Now, it asks me to sign in every time i open the app and when I search, nothing shows up! Even the home has no suggestion. Its completely blank.. Show more

Only issue is, to play in the background, you have to put the video in landscape, go to homescreen, then pull up control center and restart video.

Can’t access my playlists. What’s the point in using this app?

I’m done. Just another Youtube app now. No background play. Update: The isn’t original TubeX. ? still have original one

What? I used to use this in previous version. Back then you could log into your YouTube account. Now you can’t. Grrr.

Background play!!!!!!!

This app great functions is the ability to play video while your phone is lock but there also a problem that you have to pause the music/video that you play first and then unpause so that it start playing again. The only bad thing i have to say it the-search because sometime i get frustrated because when i search something and click on it and it wasn’t right and i try to search another thing but the auto search wont work soo i have to quite the app and redo my search again cause I'm too lazy to type the whole thing. OVERALL a pretty app would recommended to my hamster which i don't have. Show more

Also can’t change video quality - might be a bug. Clicking on the settings icon, brings up the option to change video quality, but you can’t click on it.
