    No native Spotify and multi room not intuitive
    No native Spotify and multi room not intuitive. Expect way more from something 10x the cost of Sonos.

    Some strange design choices, botched firmware
    The biggest gripe is how firmware 5.5.8 for the Beoplay EX really messed with Bluetooth connection reliability. Outside of that, would a normal 5 slider EQ really be that bad? I'd also love to see more control over multipoint connections, like a list of devices or the currently connected devices and control over those connections. Show more

    App horrible for Beosound A1 2nd Gen
    I was excited to get the Beosound A1 2nd gen speaker in as I travel a lot and B&O typically has great products. Unfortunately they missed the mark with this app for this product! With the app on your device and updated as well as the firmware on the speaker updated I had nothing but connection problems. I could not play Apple Music on this speaker period. Alexa had nothing but issues. Great speaker horrible app for this product which most people would be discouraged with the product when it’s just the awful app! Show more

    More work to do!
    We have a Beosound2, Beoplay A9, BeoSound Stage and a Halo - all wonderfully designed and sound is good but for goodness sakes is it difficult to get them in sync playing! It is F*&(ng frustrating! We have to use Google Home to connect them via our WiFi router and sometimes they all work and more often than not one speaker will work and we can’t connect to the other speakers. I have worked with B&O tech support and once they got back to me to trouble shoot it and it worked for a short while then went back to not working. I can’t figure this out on my own and need help but am not able to get it either from support or from the dealer where I purchased the speakers. I rarely write negative reviews but this one deserves it. Not to mention linking my Soundstage with our new LG TV - also a nightmare that is still not connected. Watched all the third party YouTube tutorials and still not working. They need to get things smoothed out on Beolink, google home, or whatever system they decide to pair with. Furthermore, the limitations of streaming Deezer vs Pandora vs Spotify require work arounds kill the experience. Deezer is way to limiting and if you use Pandora or Spotify you are stuck with a work around like Google Home which is where the problems begin. If you are a support person from B&O please prove me wrong and I’ll rewrite the review. Otherwise, I stand by my verdict of great looking and sounding speakers but the software is lame. Show more

    Yes, sophisticated people within a network of sophisticated structure. The components must have been designed with precision because the sound is sooo darnn good

    Connectivity in its infant stages
    The worst Bluetooth connectivity on the market You need to find the competitors worst, you hire him on your design team and you would still be a step up

    Remote on and off.
    The app works well. One key thing that’s missing for me is the possibility of turning on and off the speaker through the app.

    Beolab 28 have a Lot of wireless issues
    The slave speaker has been resetting with some regularity since new ☹️

    App is so so
    Rarely connects with headphones. The sound is great. The app is meh.

    Very happy with the new firmware
    The latest firmware for EQ makes the earbuds almost perfect however if the earbuds remember the last sound mode (Noice Cancelling, Transparency, Neutral ) it will be perfect.

    Good app, but needs Receiver 1 support for Theatre
    Very pleased with the app. However, please add the ability to use a B and O Receiver 1 with the Theatre. I have some non wisa enabled Beolabs I would like to use with my Theatre via wisa but can not as the Theatre and app see the Receiver 1, play test tones through the connected speaker, but do not add the speaker to a speaker group, presumably because there is no way in the app to tell the system what kind of speaker is connected.     This stuff does not work up to bang quality
    I cannot see what I am typing, some other bug. Anyhow Bluetooth on beo stuff is mess I tried to update h9 3 rd gen today did not work I have over 10 different beop.ay items the stuff is great Bluetooth and app stinks I normally do not write reviews but I like bang stuff but these things above stinks regardless of what your tech guys says I will buy more bang stuff but these things should be fixed the day before yesterday I also bought beo play eq same problems It is cumbersome to get Bluetooth to work It is terrible Show more

    Problems problems
    So much trouble connecting to my iPhone. It takes 20 attempts or more if even successful. After multiple attempts over the course of 24 hours, wiping off the Bluetooth connections multiple times, I was finally able to connect my Beoplay E8 to my iPhone. Considering I paid 315+tax for them, vs my 150+tax Beats Studio Buds, the Beoplay is anything but desirable. One star stays. Show more

    Got this on Black Friday with a discount, I have been planning to get one based on all the reviews I had read about it. No regrets here, pure sound quality and yet not overwhelming. Love it! Show more

    Not easy rol pair
    Sometimes it pairs at once and most of the time it’s a struggle. You don’t know if you should turn on the app first or the speakers …. Have to try several times before you can pair Otherwise it’s awesome. INCREDIBLE SOUND!! Nor that loud but just perfect sound. Excelente quality! Show more

    E8 3rd Gen EQ Sounds terrible
    Not sure what happened, but as of the most recent update, my e8 earbuds sound awful. When i try to adjust the EQ wheel, the app says it’s having trouble communicating with my earbuds. Please fix. Show more
