I absolutely love NTS but not being able to have cast/external device selection via NTS app is a little frustrating. I’m forced to use TuneIn via Alexa which always has ads, even if you pause and resume a station you’re listening to. Show more

This app with the most recent update is unusable. The episode will just stop playing without a prompt if i continue searching through the app. I have to press play and then exit the app for it to play without stopping. Show more

NTS and their app are one of the best things around, a joy for music lovers. But the iOS app has huge performance issues. Whenever I use the app, even if I leave it running on the background without listening to music, it drains my battery incredibly fast. In a few hours, more than half my battery is gone. Show more

I can’t do something as simple as rewinding. I even wrote this in a year 1 year ago and they never changed

For the most part, this app is great! I just wish we had timestamps for tracklists and the ability to save mixes for Offline listening. I would upgrade to supporter for those two features alone! Show more

Great variety of genres and artists. One of the best apps!!

As a radio station it’s 5/5. As an app it’s absurd how many times it prompts me to enable live notifications with a huge pop up. This is offensive to the user and the practice of UX. Suggestion, if someone chooses “not now”, please hide the notification for a few weeks. It prompts me multiple times a minute if I’m moving around the app. Show more

The music is world class but the app itself is in desperate need of updates and fixes. Importantly, it lacks casting support, including Chromecast, which is a huge bummer— Airplay is clunky and occasionally freezes or turns off on my Roku TV. Makes for a frustrating listening experience. The search function is also poorly implemented. If you search for a show by its name, it will show you that show’s playlists in a seemingly random order with no way to sort by “most recent.” Show more

NTS is an indelible source of off-the-wall soundscapes and tripping through 5th walls. I just wish I could AirPlay it to my HomePods. 1st World Problem I guess. Update: seems to work with AirPlay now! At least after switching from another audio source. Show more

NTS is by far my #1 streaming service. Hands down. I contribute to it and have a subscription. Currently only NTS Radio 2 will play through Apple Music and through Siri via Apple Home Pod. Please fix this. I’m counting on you NTS! :) With Love. Show more

Hello Love the app, everything’s great, but I can’t AirPlay NTS 1 or 2 anymore. Mixtapes work, listening back works, just no live radio. Tested with multiple AirPlay sinks. (One star just because bug report) Show more

Have no problem with live radio or playing mixes on the web, but the play button for mixes on the app just doesn’t work more than once every time I load it up. Show more

whenever i try to click on a show the app crashes on my macbook.

Love the app, love NTS, but for some reason I can’t get notifications for favorited djs/shows. Other than that, love it.

I’ve been learning about so many cool artists and hearing so much new2me music since using this app. Plus it’s well designed and user friendly!

Had this app in the back burner for a while. Better than Pandora, by far. Great mixes to match any mood/lifestyle.

Pros: Great mixes and way better than Spotify radio or pandora. Nice knowing these are the work of awesome djs and a good place to find new music. It’s like they do the hard work for you. Best part it’s an easy way to set, sit back and listen/multitask/socialize rather than constantly on your phone picking stuff out (if you use Spotify, Apple or Amazon) Cons: It would be nice to play the mixes, then have the track list time stamped or highlighted so you know which song you are currently listening to. Looking to this app to find new music, and it’s annoying trying to sync up songs or be extra attentive. Also the click and drag play head through mixes is way less precise than SoundCloud. Overall, highly recommend opening up this can of worms. Dope mixes and awesome platform overall. Issues mainly reside in the ux. Show more

I started listening to NTS this last year and they have some of the best shows of any internet radio there is. The app is smooth and works extremely well. My only issue is that in a recent update it goes to the schedule when you click on a show that's playing, instead of the show details. Show more
