Press “VBAN” button on the desktop app. A new window should pop up. Click “VBAN is OFF” to change it to “VBAN is ON.” Then under where it says “Outgoing Streams:” click “On” next to Stream1 so that the “On” button turns green. Now on the mobile app, locate the “Menu” button and click to get your IP Address. Back on the desktop app, under “IP Address To:” type in the IP address that you get from the mobile app. Also, make sure to set the sample rate to 44100 Hz because the mobile app only supports that frequency. Now you should have a green “Connect” button on the mobile app. Show more

Nothing in this app can be tapped. None of the buttons do anything. It is thus impossible to connect to a VBAN stream, making this useless.

App installs but you can’t tap in anything except “connect” button and that just brings up an error that it cannot connect to the stream. Well of course not because none of the areas you tap to config are working… Show more

Bring version 1.4 back please, I used to be able to receive audio from my PC and watch YouTube on the phone or listen to Spotify at the same time but now I can not do that with 1.5 if I try to open YouTube, Spotify or any other audio app, VBAN will stop. Show more

Unfortunately the app does not connect to the running stream on my PC. Connect button does nothing and the RCV light never goes green.

The bluetooth headphone issue is a real problem with this app. Those saying “delay is a limitation haven’t experienced the issue and don’t get what we are talking about. This isn’t about standard bluetooth audio latency. The app completely bugs out and starts sending muddy, stuttery audio when using BT headphones. It’s a big problem. Show more

This will solve a lot of problems syncing up all the devices in our streaming radio stations studios.

I have the paid version which stopped connecting to streams at all about a month ago, but the free version still worked. Now the free version doesn’t work anymore either.

It needs a permissions update due to IOS14 changing privacy settings.

When it works, it’s nice. No help setting it up so you have to figure it out, then it degrades over time for inexplicable reasons. And it absolutely kills my battery and makes my phone warm, even when not streaming anything. And doesn’t use the built-in audio so no pausing from the lock screen or control panel. Does not work on Chinese model iPhone. I reported the issue and the solution to the developer but no response.

100% works.. to start, on the phone click on menu and get the IP, on the pc click on VBAN, on the outgoing stream make sure it’s called Stream1, where it says IP put the one you found on your phone, next make sure you turn on that stream and that vban is on. Lastly on the phone you should see RCV box light up green, click connect and you are set. Note, the lite version only lets SamplerRate of 4100hz max. The app says to sample from source at 44.1khz. Default is 48khz on source. You need to change that and put in the ip address of your iPhone. Then the connect button works great. Show more

Hard to use but 5 stars

I struggled with finding out how to use it but once I got it to work it’s been the best thing ever!

It takes a minute to make sure the settings match but it works great for a free app.

like everyone else said, the connect button doesn’t work. i love voicemeeter but this app is useless.

Got mine working the guy above didn’t look into the app. By default Vban on the computer is set up to 48 kHz and pcm 24 bit. It says right below connect that max is 44.1 kHz with pcm 16. On the computer You need to turn on vban, top left, turn the stream you care about on and adjust the settings to 44100 pcm16, I also needed to identify where I wanted the stream to go. I rated 2 stars because. It’s a little shotty but that may be my network quality. Also they made it so you have no way to adjust the timing which drives me nuts. Suppose I’ll have to upgrade to the 6.00 version to do that. Show more
