Can get to music play , reading all bad files! Not recommended!

I’m almost in tears with joy? This is the the most beautiful app I’ve ever downloaded in my life? EQ, Bass Booster and the one thing that stole my heart… The ability to personalize the entire app with color coordination you can create fading in to infinite choices in color combinations?? I would be complete with just the way this app was designed it’s perfect?? Show more

So getting this app results in wasting space on phone cause nothing shows up on the app. You can’t even eq anything lead alone play any music into it.

Excellent player but with an annoying banner ad.

My phone music sounds a lot louder!

I cannot find any instructions on how to get Music Player X to load my Apple Music cloud library. I expected the music to show up in the app by providing Music Player X access to my “Media and Apple Music” but it’s totally blank. I am using an iPhone13 Pro Max and all of my music is in my iCloud library (most of which I uploaded from CDs). I will upgrade my rating once I get a response and Music Player X accesses my Apple Music cloud library…Thanks! ____Updated my review based on the developer’s response which I appreciate: The app says it is “Designed for your music library” but my music library is in Apple Music’s iCloud and I was told that doesn’t work for Music Player X. The wording is deceiving in the App’s documentation so I believe the developer should modify their text to say “Design for your music library on your device”. I will try downloading some of my library onto my phone and update my review again based on my experience. _____Final review (updated from 3 stars to 5 stars): Downloaded some songs to my iPhone and the app works and sounds great. I have too many songs to download everything. Wish I didn’t have to download songs to each of my devices. You must also understand that the sound quality will still be limited to the quality of your speaker. Based on my experience, I will now consider upgrading to the paid version. Show more

I read this app was supposed to be compatible with Apple Music without having to download all the songs into the app. Well it will only find 4 of my songs. I’ve tried every option on the app with no luck. Show more

does what it says and without any data collection!

I needed this app primarily for the equalizer since iPhones do not have custom EQ options. My only problem with the app is in order to sync my music to it I had to connect and sync directly to my laptop and everything started working fine. There’s no instructions or info to help sync the app. Other than that, once I got it set up it’s been awesome. ? Show more

If I could figure out how to access my music stored on my iPhone I would probably like the app. I have texted “support “ but so far there’s been no response Show more

I’m guessing it only works on music that’s saved to your iPhone. Not for YouTube from what I can see

If you exit out of the app you can’t get any more songs when you get back onto the app unless you delete then download it again.

I gave this app a 5-star review because it does the job AND it’s actually free. There are a few things you may want to know though. I had trouble figuring out how to use it and I was about to delete it when I realized the features are accessed just above the play button by sliding the “now playing / playlists / albums” to the left. I hope the developer finds a way to make that easier to know. The EQ is awesome and the volume is boosted! It’s just what I was looking for. It would be nice to be able to turn on and off the effects so I can hear the difference. I’m still trying to figure out how to use theme and 3D. I’m also having a bit of an issue with shuffle… I want to shuffle play within a playlist , but somehow I keep doing something that makes it shuffle all my play lists. It won’t recognize any of my downloaded music.

Turn off cloud music, how was it selected to begin with. I can’t find any of my 10k songs in the app. Didn’t work for me.

Still having this problem in march 2022 and i have the current iphone. Yes -After jot using for a while - it crashed- and have to delete the app for it to work again - but still after i stop using - its back to square one—— delete app and re- install —-// Help!!! SOS - really like this app - but ever since I got the update - it crashes after the first minute!!!!’ Still the same problem In august 2021- have to delete and redownload app to work again- once I stop using and try to use it later- it crashes after 39 seconds. Yeah it works great once I redownlow it - but it’s irritating having to repeat process just to enjoy this great app- the best app for listening to music - except of course for this defect. Show more

Recently I had to admit I need hearing aids and was fitted for a pair. Now I’m hearing many of the sounds and frequencies I hadn’t heard in quite a while. One of the features of the hearing aids is Bluetooth connectivity. That means I can send and receive my cell phone calls. I can also listen to YouTube videos and music. I used the Apple Music app on my iPhone 13 Pro Max which has never impressed me too much. I just downloaded Music Player X and was amazed at how much better the music sounds. It has an equalizer but it’s sounds excellent with the settings at their default. Of course the sound can be tweaked with the equalizer as you like it. Show more

This app isn’t consistent with showing my playlists that I’ve created on my iTunes. It’s so frustrating!

Works pretty well if you want to EQ playback of your audio files. The sound is really quite good. Tested it on a few files and everything was smooth and had no problem whatsoever. Only 5 bands to mess with, but they were more than adequate. I use a Bert Kaempfert file “Remember When” which has a good assortment of instruments from the bass up to higher frequencies. Might not be a popular genre nowadays, but the audio quality never changes…even after many years since it was first recorded. Try it and I’m sure you’ll like it. Should things change in the app as they inevitably do, I’ll just delete it. Doesn’t take up much space either only 18gb’s or so. Nice job to the app folks, you built it well. Lastly, this is an unsolicited review by myself. Show more

This is the best app for music I’ve ever had. I’ve run into a small problem with launching the app where it has a hard time staying connected to my files app on my iPhone X. I can launch it, but the moment it tries to load the screen past the logo, it crashes. I’ve tried closing it and reopening it, even when it crashes, it goes to my background apps. I use another app to convert music to MP3 and I have that sent through my files to listen offline. If there’s a way to solve this, please let me know. I love this app to pieces, but I hope there’s a way to fix this crashing issue. Show more
