Really wish this app kept evolving.
Not sure what it is but I really like this app. Could be simply the minimalist interface. However, I really wish this was developed further, improved. Really hope for very basic sample editing, the sample loading could be more streamlined too. Show more

    Only needs auv3 compatibility
This would easily be the best drum sampler/sequencer on iOS if it was auv3 compatible. Unfortunately, without auv3, it’s not super useful in my setup.

    PLEASE ADD SWING ??
This app is amazing but swing would take it to the next level

I like it a lot but needs update for “love” status.
Great introduction to an Elektron workflow. But this app could take over the iOS drum machine market with some updates. Here’s my list: -Midi in/out -Auv3 -Ab3 optimized: or whatever you have to do to allow users to activate patterns via Remote. -Ability to slide finger to make patterns and velocity changes -swing -probability of step -probability of p-lock -sample start modulation -ability to reverse samples -live sampling input -tempo per pattern If you can make this stuff happen, this will essentially turn iPads into digitakts. That being said, I can’t put it down. It’s worth $10 for sure. I really hope the developer gives us an update with at least an auv3 implementation. Cool stuff. Show more

    I need this as AU
This thing is absolutely fantastic, can’t believe it’s free. I was searching high and low for something like this but I’m still searching because I need it as an AU. Great interface, uncluttered, gives me just the controls I want to tweak for drum samples. Show more

    Please add triplet entry?
Very easy to use and it's great in dark mode on my iPad. I would like to see a jazz feel/triplet option, as a second template for my students to take advantage of it. Kind regards, George Show more

    Great app terrible file loading
I can’t believe how tedious it is to load samples one by one, seems like folders would be ideal. The only draw back of this app so far and it makes it so annoying. Otherwise I’m impressed with just the stock iSH Show more

    Digitakt Feel!
Really like the workflow of Ton. The parameter locks for each drum step is very much like an Elektron type machine and is a winner. Very cool, quick and creative to work with. For example, you can parameter lock the pitch, decay, FX send, pan, level, etc. for each step of a sample in a pattern. I recently discovered you can even parameter lock a different sample into each drum step of a pattern! I do not know of any other drum machine on iOS that can do this. Excellent work developer! Abelton Link allows realtime jamming with other apps. It does not come with many samples but Ton provides easy import of user samples from iCloud, AudioShare, and Dropbox. This alone is worth the price of admission. If the developer continues to update Ton with more factory sample content and features, it could become the go to drum machine for those seeking that Elektron drum sequencing vibe without the price tag. Killer Drum Machine!
This is a hidden gem! I’ve never been able to work with anything that had parameter locks before - loving this feature! ? Would be amazing if we could load an Auv3 fx app into the reverb and delay slots, to bypass the internal fx and use our fav fx apps inside Ton for send 1 and 2. Would also like to sync changing patterns to start on the downbeat of the next bar as an option. GREAT APP, Thanks for this beast! ?? Show more

    Basic but solid drum sequencer
(Updated) Quite odd to change the entire interface but I like it. Still very basic but solid and, again... FREE!! The design has room for improvement where there is unused screen space between the "source" and the "master" panels that could have been used for the "patterns". This would have made it much easier to perform and change on the fly. I guess MIDI out and import samples can come in later as IAPs. Keep up the good work. Cheers Show more

    Who Cares?
So they changed the interface. No big deal! It's the parameter locking in an easily accessible package that makes this fun. It would be nice to see separate outs in AUM or other host. Otherwise, I like it. Show more

    Smh
So now the interface is a classic step sequencer, as in just like a million other iOS drum machines that already does the same thing. The last interface was a lot like patterning but a lot more fun to use, now it's like just about everything other step drum, smh...... Show more
