Looks to be a simple, easy to use app, but you are left to your own trial and error noodling to figure it out. Support appears to be non-existent. Support link leads to a parker site, Facebook link leads nowhere. It has many disadvantages as described in other reviews. Glad I only paid two dollars. Show more

Yes! Easy Chart is very easy to use. I made a 2 page chart fast! I looked at many apps like this and I like this one the most. The biggest problem I find in it is that there is not enough space for writing in a chord on each beat! Especially fatter chords! A way around this was for me to do a chart in 2/4. I would like to see an update on Easy Chart fixing this problem. I still love Easy Chart !!! Show more

I will recommend this app to any musician who doesn’t have any time to sit down on a computer to write charts on a notation software. You can do it in your phone or iPad and send it via e-mail to anybody or yourself. The only thing I wish this app have is way to write rhythm and notes but for a quit reference on chords and structure works perfect! ?? Show more

I’d like to see a few more options available, like bracketed repeat symbols, rests etc. but I’ve created ten basic charts for cheat sheets fora. Upcoming show and found it useful and easy to figure out. Once familiar with the operation, I can make a chart fast. A save function would be nice but I can copy to photos and then add to OnSong easily enough. It’s worth two bucks Show more

I can’t finish my score. When I get to the 4th or 5th line it won’t let me insert markers or notes

They should really let people know there’s no notation function at all

Bugs...showing 3 measures and a partial 4th measure per line. Not even filling the page on my iPad Pro. Tried to insert repeat sign and it wont allow me to move it. Can't edit name, tempo, key, etc. Other quirks as well. Cannot create a Nashville number chart either. Wasted money. I was hopeful. Update: They fixed some of the issues I stated previously but it still doesn’t have the option to create a Nashville number chart. It also needs to be able to change keys after a chart is written. And we need to be able to save the chart in the app for future edits. Show more

I like this app. I wanted to find an app to create a chord only chart. I have some issues with application. If you create a chart, it’s almost almost impossible to save it. You can lose all your work if you save it in the wrong place. You have to download a .jpeg file and wait to download to your desktop. I would love it if future updates had the following: The chance to save your work in document, an option for font sizes, and the flexibility of changing time signatures and key signatures. I’d love it if you had a desktop version of this app with an iOS iPhone connection. In all, I am glad this app is available. If all you need involves a chord chart it travels in the right direction. I bought this app with the hopes that it would be a miracle upon my life, being able to chart DRUM parts anywhere. And so this is why I ask you to please allow me to duplicate text, as I would use this feature to identify notes. As well, something crucial, more time signatures! These two things are absolutely necessary for me to make any use of this app. Thank you very much for the effort, but please keep going! Show more

Would like to chart in numbers in stead of chords

As a pro musician, i always wanted to have this kind of simple-yet powerful app for a quick chart writing. But it didn’t work on my ipad pro- when i select the chord, it always goes in the middle. And nothing happens when i click the position i want to put the chord. And I don’t like the font either. It’s so hard to read (i like Jazz fonts of other notation programs like Sibelius or Finale, but this is a joke) I want to get a refund if I can. Let me know how to. Thanks Show more

I would give this app 5 stars if there was a save function. Sometimes I work on more than one song at a time and I need to go back to old charts and make edits. This app is a great concept but lacking this key thing to make it a go to app for me. Show more

Can the font size be adjusted for chord symbols? Can numbers be used in lieu of letters for chord symbols? Why cant I delete unused bars? Why doesn’t starting repeat sign line up with first bar of each line? Where are tutorials for this app? Show more

Starting a chart is easy enough, but when I click on the first chord to use it defaults to halfway down the page, with no apparent option to start charting/inserting chords on the first line of the chart. Maddening, especially without any instructions or tips. This is a good idea that isn’t quite ready for use (or for taking people’s money). Show more

This app has potential. Two things I think it needs: 1) It needs a way to save charts within the app and a way to search for them alphabetically or by typing in the first few letters/Words of a saved song. Currently the only way to save a song is by exporting it as a PDF or an image file. 2) It needs an easier way to chart songs by the number system. I like to chart by the number system because it makes it easier to play in any key. The app lists the chords of the chosen key for quick selection, I wish it did the same for the number system. Currently this app has the ability to type in anything you want and add it to the chart but it would be nice if one could switch between the chords or numbers for quick selection. Show more

Brilliant!! For two bucks you get a lot here. Clear layout, measures and chords, even lyrics if you want. Plus, you can export the file to PDF and print. It's a powerful way to grow a library of readable charts. I hope in the coming months the newer version will give an option to transpose. Show more

It can’t be used horizontally, there doesn’t seem to be an erase or undo option, there are no options (that I can find) to notate the rhythm of a chord change- unless the chord changes directly on a downbeat, and when a repeat sign (or other marker) is added to a bar, the bar doesn’t expand to fit it properly. Instead, it just has to sit there on top of the hash marks, making it messy and hard to read. It’s very possible that I am using it wrong, but, so far, it’s not very intuitive for problem solving. It needs more chord options and minor keys should be an option. i.e. The Key of C major: also know as Am (A minor, or as you have it A-) Some chord options that would be great, with The key of C being the example, are C6, C7, C9, Csus, Csus2, Csus4, Cmaj7, Cmaj9, Cm, Cm7, Cm9, Cadd9, C6add9, Cdim, Cdim7, Cmaj7b5, Cm7b5 if you added all of these chords I would easily pay 2 or 3 dollars for the app. I haven’t checked but if there is a way to add words, repeats, and codas I would easily pay $5 for the app. Again, an app with these features would be extremely valuable to charters.
