When I play a song, it takes few seconds to start and it makes the Play Next / Play Previous function so painful. Please fix. Anything other than that is just fine. Show more

Did not connect properly. Tidal does not work. It is an unsupported app. Don’t waste your time.

I’ve tried multiple DLNA apps on iOS including VLC and mconnect, non of them could handle play from upnp server to renderer bug free. This is the only one that works flawlessly including background progress syncing and playlist. Also the UI is pretty usable, so I give it a five star. Show more

Can’t even play songs in my library, it just crashes when a song is added to the playlist and I pressed the next song button.

All feature was working ok. However, there are a few things that need to be improved. 1. Gapless playing is not working properly. 2. If the app from ipad was closed the music stop playing. Also, it happened when ipad was get into sleep mode. Show more

This apps matches what i need to switch songs while using AK Sp1000m with speaker. I can just change songs, select songs from Iphone, quite handy. It is good if you have music sever in computer then can play through AK to speaker. Require the update for Tidal login within the Apps AK connect. I can’t login to my Tidal account, probably due to upgrade from Tidal login credentials. Regards, Blue Show more

An update is needed. It’s been two years since the last bug fix.

The app functions alright for my SP1000m. It’s nice to control my DAP remotely. If the app gets put in the background, it often resets the settings meaning you’ll have to start a new playlist and choose your player again. My biggest complaint is that the tidal functionality is broken. I cannot log into my account without an “unknown error” occurring. I can no longer log onto tidal thru this app as of April 2021, the app can only act as a remote for my onboard music on my sp1000m

I setup my Norma SR15 to be used with AK Connetct 2.0, however all works but not the volume, it won’t let me change it, stuck at same volume on iOS. Can’t change volume of Norma via the app. This is useless as I might as well stand next to Norma to operate it instead of using this remote app. Please fix it! Oh, and the funny thing is volume on the original AK Connect app works just fine!! As soon as it is fixed well update rating stars! Volume fixed! Few more suggestions: Get rid off loud volume warning (most people who are using this app are audiophiles and most likely know how to manage their volume control). It is a very annoying pop up every time I change volume. UI needs major overhaul. Show more

Volume control through iPhone se stopped working.

I started a ticket with Astell&Kern and they asked me if my Wi-Fi connection was working. IT IS. As well ask my direct Network connect using a LAN connection (RJ45). As well my A&K device (AK500N) is up dated to the latest firmware. Still the app doesn’t work on iOS 12. They need to fix it before you purchase an A&K device or download this app for a device that you have already purchased!!! My iPhone (on AK Connect 2.0) no longer changes the volume of my AK500N. I can play-pause-select-etc. but not change the volume? Is this a bug? When will it be fixed? Show more

This is a great app that allows me to conveniently control my music from my phone via WiFi or cellular hotspot, whether it’s connected to my stereo via balanced line out to rca’s, or just in my backpack or pocket where I can’t so easily reach it. As for sources, it allows me to stream Tidal, paid iTunes music, and more from my pc and other music servers, all while benefiting from the Kann’s great sound quality. The only con is that it locks up from time to time if I’m pausing and playing my music too much, but that may just be due to latency between my iPhone and Kann. PS ... I also can’t control the Kann’s volume via AK Connect any more since updating to iOS 12, so it would be great if Astell&Kernn updated the app. Show more

About as bad as an app gets. There is no real instruction on how it is suppose to work. All it did for me was play music on my Ipad, which of course is not why I got it. I contacted AK and got two useless responses. Abysmal customer service. Show more
