The speaker shows in settings. App will not connect… Poor start for a speaker that is already coming late to the party..

App is ok! I wish it allowed me to rename channel. It allows me to rename speakers, why not channels!

It would be great if I could pair the ap with more than one device at a time.

Love the 50ms, been using a pair of them a for a rock trio in both indoor and outdoor venues. The following are requests based on real world experience with this system over the last year. The App is so close to being perfect but it really needs just a bit more to make a pro unit. Please consider the following when developing the next app release. 1. Ipad wont allow naming of channels: Brand new ipad air and most recent EV app. i can not rename channels. (No ios keyboard appears when i click Rename.) However my iphone WILL let me rename them BUT... even when I store the session and switch back to the iPad, none of the channel names remain when I recall the session. PLEASE FIX THIS BUG! 2. EQ is lacking: NEED PARAMETRIC EQ on each channel - 3 band doesn't get it for drums or acoustic instruments. (At least Para on the main and aux would be a decent compromise) 3. NEEDS PRE FADER: Must be able to send signal to aux without main vol. 4. FX to AUX Please allow channel effects send to aux as well as main. 5. 2nd AUX SEND. When using smart link, why cant you have the second aux output on the second unit be a real 2nd aux, independent of aux 1? Please keep updating and improving this great mixing app. Regardless of it current shortfalls its still amazing! Show more

The app connects and controls everything exactly as it should. There are two things that would really improve this app. The first would be to include an EQ section on the master with more frequency bands. Many solo acts use this system as their monitor and as a main which means that the speaker necessarily behind them with their microphone out in front of the system. Consequently you can/will get some feedback that will creep in. The current one octave EQ can reduce those feedback frequencies but the addition of a third octave EQ would do that even better with less damage to the overall sound. This should be a very simple firmware and app update as it’s all software driven anyway. The second addition would be to allow more customization of the effects. Start with the existing presets but have an advanced settings button where you can get in and adjust the reverb decay time and also the echo delay time / delay level would be more useful than a host of static presets. I would rather have one or two customize able affects than a slew of stuff that’s over the top and unusable. All the reverbs have a really long decay. Why? Who wants to sound like they are singing in a cave anyway? Again this is all software driven so just tweak the code and offer a firmware / app update. App doesn’t connect via Bluetooth. Every time I try, it recognizes the device but when trying to pair it instantly fails every time. I’ve tried this from an iPhone and iPad with the same results. From the other reviews, looks like the app needs a lot more work anyways… looking forward to seeing the improvement EV. Cheers Show more

The Aux fader onThe individual channels has vanished. Channel 5/6 noBumper functions as an input with the mono button engaged. These functions did work I know they have ceased to work. I’m not able to download an upgrade from the App Store or reinstall the app that I have. The firmware optional longer comes up either. Show more

I have a 30 m. Would love if it had a more complex eq section with a frequency analyzer. They could take a page from the behringer x air app. Also individual gain control on each channel would be a no brainer. Show more

Can’t get it to recognize my ELX 12pBT

The QuickSmart app for the ELX200 is not up to par with other apps. The fact that you cannot control the volume/eq individually in the app is a concern. The speakers are good, but the app for the ELX series needs to be updated. It would definitely be a game changer! Thanks Show more

I have the ev200s. It has 2 inputs plus the aux input. It would be great if this app allowed individual control (vol, eq) for each input. So if I had a mic in Input 1 and music in either the aux or Input 2 , I could mix them from the app. This app only allows vol and eq for the speaker itself. When could you add these features into this app? Show more

Unfortunately this APP does not support ZLX speakers. It’s not even an option. EV please give us an app!!

It can’t pair with the phone’s regular Bluetooth and app at the same time, and that’s disappointing. It took a few minutes to figure out.

Needs a parametric eq on each channel like other digital mixers have. A must for us acoustic guitar players.

This app is a good starting point, but it’s not fully-baked. When used to control the Evolve 30M, which is marketed as one of your top new products, there are numerous basic features missing, including some that are visible on the PA amp/mixer panel interface itself, such as the levels for each channel. Also, connectivity when the app is minimized is poor and I often find myself searching for and reconnecting to the speaker after switching apps. Please take some time in the next app iteration and Evolve 30M firmware update to provide more digital mixer basics/controls, your current customers will appreciate it and potential future customers will know that Electro-Voice is committed to its products and their long-term use. What would make it 5 stars for me is being able to label inputs. Maybe you can I just haven’t figured it out yet. I must have increased the wrong input 5 times on a live set which in turn gave some nasty feedback from a super hot condenser. I could not remember which input was the condenser. Show more

This app is worthless if you own the ZLX or ZLXB speaker’s. Doesn’t support that great model I own? What’s up with that EV? Still got love for ya, just not a lot of stars w this app Show more

This is a super basic feature that should be included along with seeing the output levels. Even Behringer has this. Sigh.

Works well enough, but it would be nice if “plus” and “minus” boxes were added to each of the faders so they can be adjusted 1db at a time with a tap of the finger, rather than sliding the fader. Show more
