    Marginally functional
The app is an equalizer with two presets and no profiles. This is an issue because the intrinsic equalizer has been bypassed. The net effect is that you would have to re-invent your own acoustic profile or any of the others and with only two presets you’d have to input all the band by band settings each time. The app hangs up most times on my new iPod Touch. Great hardware, mediocre app. Get serious, please Audeze Show more

    Good App (suggestions for improvement)
This app works great for the iSines and they sound great. There are a couple of suggestions I have and bugs I have noticed. It would be nice to have more than 2 presets and have the ability to name each preset. I love that presets transfer to any iOS device. Some bugs a I have noticed since iOS 11 is that whenever exiting the app and reopening it from the app switcher, none of the toggles or presets work anymore and the cable is not recognized if you tap on the gear even though music continues to play. The only way to fix that I have found is to completely quit the app and restart it. Another bug I have noticed is when changing either of the two last bands to zero from say +1 or +2, it defaults back to +1 and does not save the new changes. Other than that, this app does exactly what it says and works pretty well (with the exception of the bugs). I hope it is continued to be improved upon and sees future updates. Show more

    Good App
Audeze please let us rename and make more than two presets, other than that the app works great with the 10's.

3.5 mm headphone jack breaks easily & Cipher cable has distortion/ popping
Dear Audeze, Do better, or us whom can afford your products may look elsewhere for quality music experience. I'm now thinking Focal. I have the EL-8 Titanium. I see Audeze took the Apple/ Verizon/ mobile gaming approach to make it work be break easily to keep consumers reinvesting, but I have choices. App needs support. Freezes & may be the cause of clipping before even downloading or adjusting levels. In line DAC/Amp initially has popping before app is downloaded, in which lead to using 3.5 cable all the time for distortion free experience. But you guy made it to break easily, as YouTube reviewer warned. As he had to buy 2. That saves me time to know I have to now by Moon Audio 3.5 cable. I will not by Audeze better DAC/Amp than inline. I'd rather spend that money on flagship Focal headphones. The sound is SPECTACULAR. But Lightning cable &/ or app is not from clipping out the box, & the after app, without even touching levels Greed kills, Audeze. Too expensive to be less than stellar. Show more

Cipher Cable Creates Popping & Crackling Noise
I Tried The Copher Cable & The Headphone Jack Side To Side, The Is No Sound Quality Difference Nor Amp Advantange.. The Only Thing I Experienced Was The Cipher Cable Was Creating Popping & Cracking Noise, As If As It's A Digital Interferance Due To It's A Digital Cable. This Only Happens When Using Eq's, The Regular 3.5 Jack Is Fine. ( Doesn't Happen ) Show more

    My first Audeze product!
I've been reading about Audeze headphones since they first came on the scene a few years back. With all the reviews on the Sine, how could I not jump in and "get my feet wet" ??? With all the positive things said about Sine (sound, price, value, technology, looks, feel, etc) it wouldn't have mattered if Audeze hadn't made an EQ app... I would have still bought them. Having said that, how great is it that they DID make a free app that EQ's an already outstanding (in many many ways) headphone. Because of that, how can I not give it anything but a 5-star rating ?????. Thanks Audeze, for making these wonderful sounding headphones and including a free gift ? ??. Show more

    Works great, some misconceptions
This app works great, it cuts all the fluff from a normal EQ app and works as promised. All of the one star ratings for this app can be disregarded. In order for the app to work, you need both an Audeze headphone, and a cipher cable. Unless these prerequisites are met the dials in the app won't even move, Giving the impression that the app maybe broken. Show more

    Works Well
Just purchased the Aueeze Sine headphones the app is designed for and it works very well. If they add a crossfeed feature I will give it five. The headphones are fantastic with the lightning cable. Show more

    Excellent
Just works. Plain and simple. No graphic eq, yet does a great job shaping sound, regardless of which app you're listening to. Love it with Tidal and especially Spotify premium, it really brings out the EL-8 Ti's dynamic abilities. Perhaps an expanded eq for future versions? Maybe a graphic eq or even better, a visualizer? Great work either way. I really appreciate the attention to detail. I had a couple of questions regarding an external amp/ dac (for use without the cypher cable when listening to other sources than an iPhone) and the head engineer got on the call with me and explained a lot of the cutting edge technology behind the headphones & the cypher cable. The main point was that it doesn't take much to drive these. Very impressed by his candor and the company in general. Stupefied by how amazing my iPhone sounds now. If you're an audiophile, pseudo-audiophile, or anyone who enjoys great sounding music, this really does a fantastic job Show more
