    Overall is a major step in the right direction for iPad OS two track editor
    There’s a lot of good. Could you edit a project with Auditor like you could with RX or DSP Quattro. Well, it’s design is similar. It’s based on a traditional 2-track editor. I haven’t spent enough time on it to say if it’s a logical candidate for ‘the” two track editor on the iPad OS platform”. It looks like it though. I say “the” because macOS users tend to find a two track editor then stick with that one until it goes out of business. In my 30-35 years doing this I’ve used three. 1. Digdesign with the Audio Media II card. 2. Peak Bias. 3. DSP Quattro and RX. (I’ll open Fission every now and then because Rouge Amoeba is such a good company). Cons: (this is a first look complaint). The icons at the top, New, Tools, Import, are too small. Sure, get them out of the way, but that’s too small. It’s uncomfortable. Try and concentrate on the GUI. Nail it. Many things are right. But don’t sleep until it’s perfect. That will keep customers coming back for years. And if you can afford to, try to avoid the subscription model. Charge a flat price that will make you happy and we’ll live with it. Obviously it’s not going to have the rich plugin format that RX has. AUv3 needs to mature. And that will take time. But besides this is about the best I’ve seen along with an app called “Mastering”. It’s not perfect either but I’ve use it, (and some others too). Pros: (I’ll come back for this but this two track editor looks very promising as “the one”. We’ll see. Steve Steele Show more

    OK then! UPDATED AGAIN and AGAIN! And AGAIN!!
    Still one of the best of its type on iOS. There are some newcomers but I keep coming back to Auditor because the UI and workflow are spot on. Thanks! Now with Pitch Shift! Awesome! 6 Stars! Timestretch plus everything else! Indispensable! Great new update! Gets better and better! Spend a little time learning it and be REWARDED! PREVIOUSLY: Based on the devs posts on the Audiobus forum and things said in the excellent user manual I believe this is a long-haul project with lots of great things planned so I’m going 5 stars in anticipation. PREVIOUSLY: Excellent user experience. Planned slicing and stretching look good but quite usable as-is. Ability to use AU fx would be a plus. Great start! Show more

    Almost Perfect
    Beats Audacity in my book for quickly converting audio. Please add an option to exclude or remove metadata from WAV files. I've had problems with hardware sample players reading my converted files until I stripped the metadata. Show more

    Crashes on longer files

    High quality app!
    Very intuitive despite its depth. Love many of the features. The slicing is very fast and controls are good. This may become my favorite sample chopping app and I have many. Recently updated too! I’ll be back with a more in depth review after I get more time in but I can already tell I’m in love. Show more

    Make it stop opening every audio file

    Fully featured audio editor
    Well made audio editor for really deep editing of audio files. Definitely worth having. Suggestion: Settings option: When in play mode tapping the top or bottom any slices or splits, playhead jumps and play from beginning of that section. Show more

    Slice mode
    I bought this app for slicing audio tracks all other features sounds good beside for what I paid for the slicer just simply doesn’t work i wanted to give 1 star but im sure the developer will fix it i sent an email to the developer i didn’t get a response hope he will fix it thanks edit: i gave another star I should do 4.5As I said Before that I’m sure that it’s going to get Improved overtime And yes!! but still just a little more work for the slicing Mode to catch every detail. It is definitely much much better and almost perfect Show more

    Share sheet fixed! Rock!
    App is showing up in share sheets/widgets as of today, 7/11/20. I can finally start putting in some time to learning the app ? If you could add one feature a la Twisted Wave: being able to import video files that are then converted to audio and opened in the editor. That would be MASSIVE. It would also be nice if markers in TW would show up in Auditor... Great update today, keep it up! Show more

    The Best Minus Auv3 Support!
    Only true, traditional “audio editor” in iOS, not a DAW... Message to the developer.... Is there any hope for IAA, AudioBu S or AUv3 for external/internal processing? Either Way, it’s the best we have on iOS to date! Amazing job with this and your other apps! Show more

    Fair at best
    Interface tools so small you need a magnifier!! Where is the ability to fade in or out? I have only used it once, and I use the Izotope editor on my pc, so this is like a toy compared to that!! Really not worth the money. Wish I could get a refund!! Show more

    Frustrating UI
    This app is very frustrating. The UI is unintuitive and seems to have a mind of its own- constantly resizing and snapping to the zoom level it seems to think I should want. Deleting empty layers before I have a chance to drag anything into them, handles fading away before I can grab them, etc. But maybe I could eventually get used to it I guess. What I can’t deal with is that it fails at several basic tasks: silence doesn’t actually insert complete silence, fade in/out intermittently doesn’t work, and in spite of the precision selection tools when cropping it randomly decides to change the start and end points. I ever so carefully select exactly 28 seconds and copy only to have it paste 27.0976 or something. I eventually just gave up. Show more

    Top of The Line - Must buy
    Very good Audio editor app with the ability to run as an AUV3. This is a must buy. Clean and slick UI and is a very powerful and intuitive editor. Best editor I’ve seen on IOS and might be one of the most useful so far. Show more

    Finally, Finally, FINALLY!
    A comprehensive audio editor outside of a DAW! Personally, I can stand DAWs. They’re like Cable TV, that have so much you likely will never use but you paid for all the same. Like I have Auria but I’ve never used it. All the clutter and junk and PC Desktop design. The addition coming feature will make a go to audio editor in my book. And an EXCELLENT MANUAL! Good job! (My sentiments about forums exactly. You’re like the only developer that gets it! Thank You! Show more
