Word has it the main engineer left Radsone and started a new company (Qudelix) with much better offerings than the ES100 amp/DAC and EarStudio app.

The es100 mk2 Bluetooth device works with iOS 15 but the app does absolutely nothing. It doesn’t show the device as being powered on and no of the features of the app do anything. Seeing the app hasn’t been updated in a few years it’s doubtful that any further development is being considered. Show more

Just got a pair of iems and a relatively low ambience pair of headphones. This little thing is perfect for them.

Having such an excellent EQ in the audio chain is essential for getting the most enjoyment out of the music IMO. The iPhone should have this built into ios, instead of the same EQ settings that came with the original iPod. Suggestion for developers: Custom Headphone profiles which could change various parameters all at once. Show more

The features are great BUT, adding ability to save EQ presets (for different listening setups/hardware) or tap to zero in EQ would be GREATLY appreciated. Add these features and make this software flawless. Show more

It took me forever to figure out I’m how to save a custom EQ profile. I’d set the frequency levels I wanted, go back to the profile menu, then my custom profile would reset to FLAT. I finally found out in order to save the profile settings, you have to go back to the profile menu, then long press on the profile you want to save, which is the same thing you’d do if you want to change the profile name. Then tap done. This is a confusing function. Instead of having to go to the profile name editing pop up to save, it should save as soon as you exit the frequency adjustment menu. Show more

I’ve had no way up until now to run my music off of my Bandcamp app through an equalizer on my iPhone, but this app coupled with the EarStudio es-100 has finally solved this problem. I also love the ambient feature. I gave my Fios BTR3 to my son, and will use the es-100 from this point onward. Great product. Show more

I love this little DAC and it sounds amazing. It has many different ways that you can use it so it’s practically glued to my hand 24/7.

Buy this if you truly care about audio fidelity! Chances are your earbuds, headphones or speakers aren’t delivering the tonal balance that you prefer and this app includes a 10 band EQ and a bunch of other settings that make you able to get the best out of your gear. Don’t believe those telling you that an EQ is bad for good audio. Check the Fletcher-Monson curve and why using EQ makes a heck of a sense. Check how your hearing deteriorates as you ages and tweaking the treble can rejuvenate your listening experience. Or just check how the majority of audio gear is with flawed frequency response. And besides, you might have your personal preference, perhaps you need a bit extra deep bass for your EDM listening...and so on. Professionals use EQ all the time and consumers are told by some companies its bad to use...no, use this app and tweak the sound and you will realize what you have been missing. Show more

Dear Developers, The app that you’ve made for the EarStudio is simply amazing. It gives you total control over the device and a ton of features that helps you tweak how you want your music to sound like in your ear. I only have one recommendation which is to provide a widget as a volume slider for the device. Sometimes I have the EarStudio in my backpack or pockets and I don’t want to lower the iPhone’s volume since it will lower the quality of music. A widget for the pull down menu would be very convenient in turning the device’s volume up or down without needing to enter the app each time I connect my headphones. Thank you, Abdulaziz. Show more

If you’ve got an iPhone 7 or newer without a headphone jack, you need the EarStudio ES100. You’ll never miss the headphone jack again!

it's difficult to get each slider back to 0.0 but the latest update is very good

The latest update as of this date fixed that annoying volume bug...this app now plays nice with the es100 and makes it well worth its costs!

The update on 1/3/19 caused my iPhone 8 volume slider to jump around erratically. This new version fixed the issue, ONE day later on 1/4/19 after I informed the developers of the issue. How awesome is that? Show more
