    pretty good
Pretty good, but I have a few suggestions. -Add a visual metronome, so that even if uou can barely hear the metronome, you can see ot. -This gets pretty annoying. Every time you open the app, you must sign in again. Add a “Remember Me” button. -More colors, or a multicolored/rainbow theme. Show more

    New to the app.
So far so good. I’m learning how to use the app a little each day.

    Best of the bunch
I’ve tried a LOT of metronome apps. This is the best one IMO. It’s simple and elegant.

    Love it but...
Here is a suggestion, we should be able to type in a number and then if will be played. We should also be able to make a few numbers our special ones so we can go back to them whenever. Other than those this app is awesome Show more

Forces you to agree to all emails to sign up
You cannot even register unless you click all three boxes. I clicked on privacy policy but the other two were to accept ALL future emails and if you don’t, a little message to “please click all boxes to continue” pops up and you cannot go any farther unless you do. I don’t like being forced to accept emails I have no interest in. What a bogus policy. I will be deleting my app. Show more

    Developer’s get rich quick scheme
You have to set up an account and log in to fully use it, ostensibly so that you can “track your practice” independent of the device. Really, it so that the developer can “monetize” your data. There is a limited “guest mode” but tapping in the wrong part of the screen will prompt you to set up an account. Also, instead of the metronome simply appearing when you launch the app, you are subject to a self-advertising “splash screen”. I would like a metronome app similar to the iPhone calculator that simply appears and works without fuss. There is an “online” version of this app at metronomeonline.com that one can simply use without fuss. I would recommend that, rather than this, which is obnoxious. I don’t find any viable alternatives in the App Store either. Show more

    Simple, Easy to Use
Exactly what I need to practice guitar and piano. I love that the team is super responsive and seems to be constantly updating and making this app experience better. Excited for the promised advanced metronome features! Show more

This app was not made by musicians
The goal of this app seems to be to encourage practicing. However there’s doesn’t seem to be even the simplest of time signature settings, no sub division at all. This is a toddlers metronome. Seems ridiculous to not have that feature even as a paid option. Learn your target audience Show more

    Couldn’t ask for more.
This metronome is super simple to use, looks beautiful and does everything I need musically. Great feature to be able to track practice time.

    Disappointment
Sometimes it is muted by itself althouth the mute is off, closed and opened secveral times, still the same problem.

    Good Tiimer
I mostly use this app to keep track of how much I practice. It also keeps me from being distracted by my phone while I practice since the timer stops when I leave the app. It would be nice if I could log what I did and it could be saved to a calendar that I can look back at in addition to hours being tracked and added. So, like a practicing journal but for mobile which would be cool since I don’t think that exists yet. Since there isn’t an option for subdivision, the tempo should go a lot faster. Smart music doesn’t have subdivision, but the metronome goes up to 400 bpm last time I checked. So, could use subdivision. Even though the app keeps me from being distracted, it would be nice to be able to use in the background since I have other apps like Pitch Lab and TE tuner that I like to use. For me to consider giving this app 5 stars, it needs a droning option, subdivision, and a more in depth way of tracking from day to day. Show more

    Great Concept.
The app looks very promising. Personally, I’d never pay on a subscription basis, so it’s unfortunate for me that I can’t buy the pro version outright. In the current version, after one enters text on an iphone they must enter the text by pressing “Go”, and not “Done”. Confusion on this point lead me to post an unfairly negative review previously. Being that I’m not sure how to remove this review, I will update it later if need be. In the meantime, 5 stars seems appropriate. I love the concept. Tracking practice is very important. Additionally, the news section was surprisingly rich and rewarding. Show more

    The only app to get
Been on a hunt for a good metronome app. This one is the best as it saves your progress and has an awesome community behind it. Look no further.

Stay on task with music practice
This is a well designed app for students and music teachers to encourage good practice habits.

    Not useful
Can’t save goals in a list with metronome settings, can’t change subdivisions or even add them. Can’t access goal list with metronome settings to save them. This is useless to a Drummer who thought you could organize a nice practice session with lists and metronome settings. Sad excuse for a program. Will be deleting and removing my subscription.
