    iOS 14/XS Max: Does Not Work
    Appears the manufacturer has abandoned the app - like previous post, the app doesn’t recognize it’s plugged in... tried rebooting phone, reloading app. Too bad a decent product, excellent value for the $$ Show more

    Does not recognize my access port
    I plugged it in a few times and even restarted my phone and it still says disconnected

    Please do update
    You haven’t done an update in over a year 1.1 years ago iOS has changed The app was horrible and had lots of errors then Please do a new update

    Works great
    Maybe I’m late to the game and the issues have been fixed, but I just downloaded the app and updated the firmware. Took less than two minutes in total, with it plugged in already and music was playing. No issues at all. No restarting. No weird noises. Charges just fine. Show more

    Avoid
    Terrible support and product. It never works. Any apple product I have tried it with says it is not supported. App never shows it being connected. I tried to get my money back from the company and all they did was send a replacement unit which has the exact same problems. A great idea with a great physical design but terrible internal issues. A major disappointment. Show more

    No updates
    I was part of the Kickstarter to get this company off the ground the product does not work properly you get new updates “one star”

    Disappointed. Not supported
    A delayed receipt of the product, application doesn’t work and neither does the plug, even with the application that doesn’t recognize it. A huge let down.

    Sooooo about that update
    Finally it’s here! It just doesn’t work. The app still says disconnected when the device is plugged in and I still get the error accessory not supported. I wanted this to work so badly. This device is great in theory. Show more

    Never a smooth update
    Locked up at 10% this time. This app has never worked properly. Not a single firmware update was without issue (on two different Accessports). On top of that, the Accessport still emits a hissing sound on high-end headphones. I highly recommend avoiding the Accessport as well as this app. Update: I was able to update the Accessport by completely resetting the iPhone's memory. You can do this by restarting your device or, the faster way, press and hold the power button until the power slider appears on the screen, then press and hold the home button until the screen is dismissed. That worked. Update 2: still hear hissing feedback on sensitive headphones, the kind that audiophiles like to use, the same kind of people who would buy the Accessport. Show more

    Finicky, but I worthwhile!
    Maybe I’m just inpatient but it got stuck at 10% like someone else. I closed the app, unplugged DAC and re downloaded app, plugged it back in and updated real fast to 1.12. LOVE THIS Show more

    Works
    As with 95% of all software problems this froze when I first ran it but was easily remedied by rebooting my device (shut down / restart), connect dongle, launch app, then use down arrow button to update firmware. Show more

    Not on iPhone 6
    App doesn't work on iPhone 6 as advertised. Had to connect device to iPad Pro to update firmware to v1.1.1. Tried again on iPhone 6, still not recognized by app.

    Calls is almost inaudible
    Call is inaudible. Reported to the creator hoping to get the call problem fix.

    Does what it says
    Installed the app, plugged in my access port and voila it updates. No problems whatsoever. Hopefully this continues in the future, but for now, great!

    Failware
    "We don't always test our software, but when we do, we do it in Production." - ADV.SOUND Dev Team. After getting stuck at 10%, my Accessport no longer works. AT ALL. Wait, it does charge... which essentially makes the Accessport a 5 inch extension cord - perfect for when you lightning cable is ALMOST long enough, but not quite. Show more

    ZERO STARS
    barely works 10% of the time. now just kicks me off and doesn't work at all. worse off now than before the app and firmware update. these guys need to get their act together or i am sending this back for a full refund. yes i restarted my phone, yes i quit the app and retried, yes i flipped the cord several times, yes this app and firmware are garbage.     Doesn't install
    Can only give the app 1 star as it gets stuck at 10% and doesn't install (the one thing it's actually designed to do). Love the actual Accessport, though... [UPDATE] Finally got it to install but now audio is HIGHLY unreliable, often cutting out when walking around/moving the unit slightly in the "real world" (where before the update it definitely did NOT), and also when I shut off the screen but want the audio to keep running. Very frustrating as the product was working extremely well before the firmware update (other than the volume when receiving calls). Show more

    You have to do it over WIFI!
    They should let you know you have to do it over Wi-Fi. I tried it without it didn't work, it stop at 10%.. When I got home and tried it over to Wi-Fi it works perfectly fine. Show more
