App has many issues. Will not cast productions to Apple TV. Freezes and never loads once connected. When you download operas to watch offline, there’s no way to access subtitles. Also, when streaming from the Apple TV app, there is no way to transfer the sound to another device. You can select an alternate option like HomePod or AirPods but it will default back to the tv sound system. All of these things make the app practically useless unless you want to simply watch on your iPad or phone. Show more

If you subscribe from its website, and use this app, you cannot cancel your subscription on the app - furthermore, you can't even cancel it on the webpage if you logged in the account with your google email. (I still CANNOT cancel it as of now) There is simply no cancellation button on the account management page - I have never seen anything more ridiculous than this. Please rethink when you subscribe. The contents are good, the website/app are poorer than one can ever imagine. Show more

Equate window into some of the best live cultural performances. The mix is wonderful including contemporary dance classical opera and everything in between.

Works great on Roku. Not on iPad, sigh……….cannot even login.

Some good operas and concerts,but the sound quality is very poor compared to most other streaming services such as Medici TV, Metropolitan Opera on demand, and Berlin Philharmoniker Digital Concert Hall. Show more

I joined Marquee temporarily to see the Nutcracker and was amazed at all of the great performances. Just about any Shakespeare play ever written and all of the great operas, ballets and classical performances are available in high definition. Bach's St John’s Passion was so moving the way it was photographed and Carmen filmed in the Sydney Harbor made me feel like I was there. Thanks for creating something that’s been missing way too long. Now anyone can enjoy the arts at a reasonable price. Show more

Beware, if you sign up through apple there doesn’t seem to be any way to get a password so you can log onto other products such as a Fire tv. This makes it useless to me since the only reason I subscribed was for my father to use Marquee tv on his fire tv. I’ll have to cancel my subscription Show more

Have a subscription to Marquee but app won’t launch on Roku or iPhone. Paid for subscription I can’t watch!!!

I have subscribed for a few years. I like using it on multiple platforms - e.g., tablet for cardio workouts, roku for an evening’s viewing. Marquee especially helped during the pandemic while we were cut off from live performances! Show more

Be warned: I cancelled this service months ago. Despite this, I t auto renewed on my credit card, and there is no way to reverse that charge. Avoid!

Buggy integration with ‘Logon with Apple ID’ double charged me for a show. Attempts to resolve were deflected to Apple.

I have paid for a rental on this app and it does not show up in my account. Very disappointed.

I’m glad some people can get this to work. I purchased he Nutcracker nyc ballet to watch, credit card was charged, apple receipt received and yet no access to the performance. Support has not been able to resolve the issue after many attempts. Don’t waste your time on ticketed performances. Show more

They give a 14-day trial, so you can decide if you even want to keep it, and then you can’t watch anything unless you’ve actually paid. So, what is the point of the free trial???? Show more

The content appears great but who wants to only watch on their phone? Support has gone MIA while trying to resolve the issue.

We tried out this app for a Shakespeare production that used Marquee for their streaming. The library is impressive, the technical stability is the opposite. The stream constantly froze while watching, would randomly back up multiple minutes, and crash. I love the potential, but would only pay again if they fix the streaming quality. Show more

We all need some beauty with what’s going on in the world today! Marquee TV gives me my daily “fix” of the arts. Love it!
