On the surface it looks like a good app (aside for all the talk about worship) — but if you're looking for a good backing tracks app, this is not it. It's only good if you're willing to pay for cloud hosting (why would you need this if you could just use local files) in their premium membership. This is not the app for you if you're NOT in a "worship band". Move right along and keep looking. Had this app supported local files (without requiring a membership) and allow you to use your own lyrics and whatnot, this might be an app worth looking at. But forget it, move on. Show more

We have been usuing PRIME at our ministry for over 5 years now - and we absolutely love it. It makes using tracks for everybody and has really provided a great resource for practicing and running tracks during our Sunday services. The ONE thing I have been hoping for (and STILL hoping for) is being able to adjust the loop click with tracks that have tempo changes. That would be fantastic and which is why I give it a 4 instead of a 5 - I love being apart of the loop family! Show more

I have given Prime more chances than I can count this past year, in 2020, and I gotta say that there is still much to be desired. The biggest issue I have is that Prime abounds with bugs that keep it from working correctly. I have used an ipad air 2020, Iphone 8, iphone X, Iphone 11 and 12 and EVERY device has had performance issues onstage, right in the middle of the service. This is unacceptable, and I fought with the app too long and too hard and STILL cant keep songs from bugging out, frantically re-downloading them during the sunday service countdown to hope it works. I have other gripes with the UI and functionality of the app as well as loop community's pricing structure, but I will keep those to myself. I have mentioned them to support in the past and nothing has happened, anyways. In short, Professional musicians that are at least somewhat techie, STAY AWAY from using this app for performance. Odds are you'll regret investing in this. Love the folks' vision and my interactions with the company's staff, but this is not an appropriate tool for professional musicians. Show more

sometimes my team its having trouble syncing the set list, they have to erase the app and re-intall the app to fix the problem, i thing it just need a litte update to fix this problem other than that its a cool app for worship Show more

Hands down the best way to break into using click and tracks in a live setting. It can be a daunting task, but PRIME makes it easy. It's hard to believe that software this powerful is offered for free. The subscription based features are incredible steps beyond the free version. Grateful for the resource this is to the Church. I use this for leading worship and personal gigs. It allows on the fly arrangements and seletion with Midi. PLus, you can upload your own tracks and use them! Great product for all my needs. Show more

ive recently downloaded to my mac mini 2012, and when i open it, it notifies me of an update. i got to update it and its already up to date. it wont let me in the app without updating it but apparently it is? maybe you guys can enlighten me on something that could be going on. i have this program on my ipad pro, mac book pro and my iphone XR. Hey, after the update yall did I cant even open the app. I restarted my Mac, I deleted and re-downloaded the app and zip. Wont even open.

This app is amazing for all it does and it's free!! Conceivably you never have to give the app developers a cent but there are many worthwhile ways to do so. You can buy a looptimus pedal that will give you hands free control over the Prime app or pick up a track rig that provides you with multiple direct outs from your iOS or Mac OS device to your mixer. Lastly you can buy high quality multi-tracks made by a community of professionals and often from the actual artists themselves. If you've ever wanted to get in to using multi-tracks with your band, or even just start playing with a click to tighten up your sound. Prime on the MacOS or iOS is the perfect place to start. It's a well supported, complete ecosystem that will give you all the tools that you need to get started. Show more

Outstanding app, easy to use, stable for live performance, and one of the best customer service departments in the industry. Prime multitrack app is a must use app for anyone in the live performance field. I’ve personally used this for performances in the worship environment and for performing live with an R&B artist. Adding stems/sounds, editing set lists, edit points, etc. could not be any easier. All for FREE! You also have the option of buying stems to many popular songs. The included 18 channel mixer allows you to set the balance you need. Options such as tempo changes, key changes, jumping between sections, and custom arrangements, make this a valuable asset to anyone looking for a free no hassle solution to having accompaniment or backing tracks for live performance.

Prime is a great way to get take your worship leading to the next level. It doesn't matter how many people are on your team or if it's just you, having the option to have pads for transitions or a click to keep the band together, is a must have. On top of that, using backtracks will enhance your music. I do think the best thing however, is that Loop Community really is a community of worship leaders helping each other out. This is accompanied by the actual company, actively listening to the clients and making the app better based on suggestions. I've been using the prime app for several years now and it has gotten us out of many jams with the lack of singers and musicians through the years. I’ve used mulitple apps to play live backing tracks, but when I discovered the Prime Multi Track App it was like someone had read my mind. This app is all the things I needed to be able to perform and not worry about being able to make the show and songs transition smoothly. I especially love the fact that you can share a playlist with the members of the band and they can rehears and have the show locked in a before ever getting together. With band members located in different states this works out perfect for us. I also like how you can select when to move or stay in a paticular section of the song, making it extremely flexible in live situations. Costumer support is awesome too! Keep up the good work! My worship team started using PRIME about two years ago. Before that time we had never even played with a click. Now we play with a click and use tracks every week. The ability to put pads in between songs and have crossfades set has made our transitions seemless and gotten rid of that "awkward silence" that takes place between songs. Playing with a click has made us a better band as we sound much tighter. PRIME's flexibility and great prices on tracks from Loop Community make this product amazing! Being able to creat setlists on my MacBook in my office and then sync it to the cloud and load to iPad in the worship center is awesome! Show more
