Trainer is excellent and very interactive session. My daughter love her session and the way it’s taught and App is super helpful to keep us in track, if we miss any sessions we have recording to catch-up. I have been using the Carnatic basic combo and beginners combo packs for the past 2 months. The highlights of VoxGuru are simplicity, ease of understanding, identifying the core concepts and above all the enthusiasm in presentation. I don’t think there is a single module that’s boring. This app has boosted my confidence and I have hope that in 1-2 years I will able to sing most of my favorite songs comfortably. There used to be a bug where the video wouldn’t play and app had to be restarted. It’s resolved now. It will be nice if the videos can be downloaded to the phone so that one can use them offline. The courses do not have any videos, it will make you believe that there are video class access once you pay and enroll but when I paid and try to access my course there are no videos. Their support is the worst and you don’t get any response. Exploring legal action against the fraudulent app. Show more

The instructions are good but the App keeps freezing which makes learning really difficult. Majority of time is spent refreshing and reopening the app.

They are Literally trying to rob us

I generally don’t prefer to give a negative rating but this app is awful! The app always crashes and if we pause it, it reloads from the beginning and sometimes the audio is mute n sometimes the video doesn’t appear. So to listen to one session we need to spend 3times of the sessions time closing n opening n reloading etc., Show more

App is not working properly in iPhone

Purchased ear training, I end up wasting my time since the app does not render correctly. I hope this will be looked into

I installed vox guru and purchased two courses - ear training and carnatic. Every time i open the ear training course, it fails to render fully well in landscape or portrait mode. Only a small top part of the video is visible. I have to close the app and do a few trials to eventually get it to render normally in landscape mode. I bought the carnatic music as the instruction in ear training was very useful. This course however shows a blank white screen with audio instructions. There is no way to even get back to the app homescreen or exit out of carnatic unless i reboot my phone. Very bad user experience. I am using the latest version of iphone and not sure if it has anything to do with app portability on newer model. Show more

They charge you promptly enough, then you lose access to your courses for no reason! Horrible app.

Hello developer of VoxGuru, I like the content of the app. However, the app is totally unusable when I upgraded to iOS 15 + iPhone 13 Pro. It just keeps crashing and I cannot start any course. I will be happy to revise my low rating when the issue is resolved. Show more

I took the new one after I saw it was updated after the one I took in early 2020. That was an excellent course and I assumed this would be better but it was much worse. I heard they will be adding another module to it. Really hope it is better. Show more

I subscribed to the Tiny Tots course twice and twice I couldn't access the content after being charged the money. I tried emailing the developer but the email bounces back. I am grateful that the App Store has refunded me the amounts but it has been a source of needless stress. Please stay clear of this app until the developer fixes these issues. Show more

Agree with most reviews. Buying a course would've been better option. Asking to keep paying for course even for practice purposes probably is way too money driven. I'm learning at slower pace and that's what I expect from an app. As a result I will end up paying way more than I can afford. $20 recurring monthly for a module is too much. I suggest changes to the pricing model if you want to attract more users. Show more

Have been a customer since December 2019. Paid almost $200 so far and when I requested Vocal lessons the human interaction got real! Don’t get me wrong the instructor was great. Their team consist of 1 person to deal with. It was difficult to communicate at times. Their payment methods have constant issues. They receive payments and claim they can’t see it. I send screen shots and bank statements only to be told it wasn’t enough proof! They make you pay by the month and if you cancel for any reason either it’s their fault or not, they will keep the remainder and cancel classes per the contract. Poor communication and understanding. If your looking for a recording to repeat things than get the app. If your looking to build a true foundation with a company that cares.... this is not the company. They couldn’t even tell me the proper salutation to show out of respect. They just ignore you and pretend like you didn’t say anything. Very Rude! The instruction itself is excellent. The app stopped working for me and it took 3-4 days to fix which is annoying when you are paying by the month. My main issue is that you can’t review material after you have paid for a course unless you want to continue paying $20 a month for each course you buy. Furthermore, I just finished a course after paying for a few months and I still have most of the month to go. So I have to pay another $20 if I want to start part 2 of the course. $20 a month for any course or buying each course outright would work better for me. Show more
