I only gave this app 1 star. If I could have, I would have given it 0 stars. I followed all the instructions as requested to install it. It’s totally stupid that I have to open the app every time on my phone in order to play in my car. Most of the time my car won’t even recognize this app! Then the next time I get in my car it will work. When it does work, I’m finding that it will play the same song again after just playing it. I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall this app several times to get it to work in my car again. Good luck to those of you who want to install it! Show more

Wasted too much time trying to get this to work. No success despite two long calls to Ford tech support.

Intermittent at best. Struggles linking to the vehicle, drops constantly, wake only word works half the time. Ratings are 3 at best but not reflected in the App Store. Every time my phone updates, app stops working. Tired of fighting with it. Show more

Swapped from a android to apple phone and it will not work.

The developers should have taken a cue from Apple Car Play and created an active interface…this is too awkward to use.

I’d give this zero stars if I could. The app is completely useless. Couldn’t use any functionality promised. Had to do a master reset to get my sync 4 system back to normal. Show more

Like me sunroof. ?. Love my F150 truck. However everything you make under your brand represents quality or lack of. I would expect better.

But when Alexa “listens” to me, no matter what I say, she seems to hear me asking her to play a selection of sea shanties. No matter how many times I try or whatever I say, her response is “Here’s a selection of sea shanties you might like” I’m at my wits end Show more

As many others mentioned. Useless as it can’t exist with Apple CarPlay at the same time. Never probably will as others complained about it years ago.

Love the app but I only love the half the time be nice if I could love it all the time

everything else works great for the most part. i had an issue where it wouldn’t show the now playing screen and was stuck on ask “ask alexa…” screen but i fixed it by connecting an android phone with the same app. the low resolution artwork on isn’t an iPhone issue because the pandora app has high resolution artwork on sync 3. i also tried the ford/alexa app on android and not only did it have high resolution artwork but i believe it sounded a bit better. otherwise a great addition to sync 3! i’ll rate 5 stars once those issues are resolved ? When this app is working it's awesome, but it's very buggy.Unfortunately the recent update mostly went towards cosmetics instead of making things work better. CarPlay won't work when the app is loaded onto your phone, which is totally unacceptable.Even if you were willing to except that problem, the app stops working at random times and freezes up, neither the touch buttons nor steering wheel controls will work again until you restart the phone, which of course is extremely dangerous when the car is in motion. Like early versions of SYNC, the app is very unhappy when you make lots of short trips. The app works fine until you stop the car, then it refuses to connect when you restart the car irregardless of whether you disconnect the phone and take it with you or not. Show more

This app was great until they tried to make it better. Now it’s AWFUL!!! Doesn’t understand commands and takes FOREVER to do anything!!!

Finally I can see the what song is playing! The interface looks better now. Thanks

Well this app is useless. Why on earth would you develop an app that only works if you disable Apple Play? I mean, this is an app, so why wouldn’t it work with Apple Play? ? Show more

The app won’t even launch and it disappears from my screen in my Ford. Useless.

Alexa app worked fine but all other apps I use disappeared. I can’t get Waze or Spotify to show up at all. I shouldn’t have downloaded this.

Supposedly Alexa is supposed to be built in to these new trucks but yet everything says it must be connected to your phone and your phone microphone… Either way, you can’t just say Alexa and have her respond through your truck. I have tried every setting and combination of settings and linked everything that could be linked and then deleted and reinstalled… And I cannot find a single bit of information on the Internet about the issue. Apple CarPlay is a million times better!!

Might be the worst app ever. It is almost like it was a demo that someone accidentally released. Does nothing well and it’s certainly no where close to Siri and Apple Play. Show more
