    Constant crashing
Crashes reliably every few seconds making set up nearly impossible

    Alexa Missing
Works otherwise as advertised as long as no Alexa isn’t a deal breaker. It is somewhat a let down when “Amazon Alexa” is plastered all over the sales listings and product packaging but missing from the app (which you have to use to enable the service). Show more

    Lost all presets
Yesterday’s app update wiped my six preset stations and changed the interface in a way that I had a hard time finding my favourite stations. Now I got them back but the app is unable to set them as preset stations. As a consequence, I can no longer turn on the device and choose a station using the heart button. I can play music only through the app. Show more

    Requires Sharing Location
Why would a speaker need my location? Refuses to setup speaker without allowing app to access location my. How can Apple allow this app in the App Store with this kind of privacy violation? Show more

    Buy Sonos Instead
My review was taken down, so here is a repost. The hardware is flawless; the app support for more than one speaker is terribly unreliable. The app should make it clear that the most reliable way to use these speakers is to use Spotify Connect, and not to rely on Airplay shared directly from iOS, even with the best and most reliable Wi-Fi network. Airplay, which is supported in Spotify, and is the only method available with Pandora, is subject to temporary and permanent interruptions. This is most noticeable when the iOS device is used for dictation, or for watching short videos. The entire application, everything about it including the error messages and screens, needs to be checked from the point of view of a native English speaker. The translation was very poorly done. If I turn off my main speaker, the hub for a multiroom system, and turn it back on again, my speakers lose their identification of left and right and stereo. I have to reassign them every time. UPDATES: 5/12/17: I have three speakers. Using the volume buttons on the iPhone does not provide enough granularity for precisely controlling music playing through Spotify. You must use the GGMM-E app to adjust the volumes carefully. However, trying to adjust the volume sliders in the GGMM-E application on my iPhone is unreliable if I have the Spotify app open and playing music on my iPhone. Volume sliders do not move responsively, perhaps because there is a hidden integration and coordination with the Spotify app. I recommend quitting Spotify before trying to adjust speaker volume with the GGMM-E app. When you turn a speaker on, and it is connected properly to the router, it will say "rooter connected" at the last-used volume of the speaker. If the last volume of the speaker was loud, this is voice will shout the phrase very loudly, it can be disturbing if it's early in the morning, or late at night. 98% of the time the speakers work beautifully. Occasionally, playback from my iPhone becomes choppy and unreliable. I have found sometimes that restarting my iPhone solves the problem, other times I have to turn the speakers off and on again. After doing that, I must set up the multiroom relationship again, and reassign their left, right, or stereo channels. Other times I have had to factory reset at least the main hub speaker of the system, and setup all settings again from scratch. 3/17/17: At about 5:40 a.m. this morning, the GGMM speaker by my bed broke the silence of the night and woke me up, and played a song for about four minutes. Then it stopped. The speaker seemed to be on someone's Wi-Fi network – the blue light is solid, but it is not on my network. Using the Google Wifi iOS app, I can see that it was on my network at 4 AM, but it is not now. The GGMM application itself cannot see the speaker. This means that so that I don't have the chance of being awakened in the middle of the night by the Internet of Things, I have to turn my GGMM speakers off physically every night, or, press the button to select a line-in connection, or I have to change the default password? So I turned it off. Since it is plugged in, the power light is still on, but the blue light is off, showing that it is not on any Wi-Fi network. Here's what happened: when I powered it back on this morning, the speaker did join my network. So it had not been hijacked to join another local network. The problem was caused by my Google Wi-Fi router restarting my Wi-Fi network. This had happened before. The speakers should not respond in this way. The GGMM app showed that there was a firmware update available. I ran the update. Your team should let us know beforehand and allow us to schedule firmware updates and let us know what is in them. The app itself says nothing about it, and according to my list of recently downloaded apps, the GGMM app itself had not been updated recently in the app store. I was presented with the opportunity to do the updates on each of the other speakers. The multiroom relationship between all three speakers was lost – I had to reconnect them. They lost their identification of left and right and stereo. I had to reset those, too. You can do better than this. Your hardware is very good. Your software needs a lot of attention to become as polished and beautiful as your hardware. Show more

    App crashes on startup
My speaker stopped working and as of the latest update the app crashes before it can get to the “add device” option. This app and speaker are basically garbage. Avoid.

    Need more polishing
App works okay, doesn’t connect sometimes though. And why separating M series and E series, it looks so cluttered. Change the app name to GGMM only or GGMM-E.

Without this app, the hardware can’t be configured
The app crashes a few seconds after opening, preventing setup - rendering the speaker useless as a clock or an Airplay destination. Lesson: do not buy hardware that require apps to set up if the company seems iffy in any way. Show more

Good looking app and it works great.
Not sure why others gave this a low rating. It works perfectly for me.

    Don't buy this product
The device itself got great reviews on Amazon, but notice the reviews for the app (required in order to use the device) are terrible. I couldn't use the device at all because the app just did not work. I am sending the device back today and will delete the app as soon as I'm done with this post. The app never worked for me it is, as others have stated, junk. Show more

    Junk
If you try to pair more than one of these speakers one will constantly disconnect customer support is of no use. One recommendation was to tap the upgrade firmware button in the app, but no such button exists. Get yourself a Sonos and save yourself a lot of headaches. Show more

    App is a joke
The speaker sounds fine, Chinese voice mispronounces words, but the software takes a long time to connect the speaker to wifi and it appears not to be an easy way to connect to a Bluetooth source. Very frustrating. Show more

    Disappointing.
    No longer supports Pandora.
