    Needs an M1 update
I might be one of the last three people on planet Earth who did not toss their Parrot Zik, but I beg you to rework this for M1 macs, or maybe open-source it so someone else can. This is a great app and one fo the few I've ever bought Original review: Volume adjust works now, I can see battery level and disable shutdown/head detection (mine’s broken after pad repair). Good job dude Show more

    Really Great
Thanks for taking the time to do this, it’s made life a lot better even for me a zik 1.0 owner!

    Great app!
Works just fine with my Parrot Zik 1. Mainly got it to help monitor battery life, and think it’s pretty obnoxious that Parrot doesn’t have their own app for MacOS. My only suggestion for it would be that it would be nice to be able to close the main window but keep the app open in the menu bar to keep an eye on the battery life. Show more

Great company, great headphones, bad decision on this app
I purchased my headphones about 3 months ago, and they have replaced all my other headphones…great sound and great quality. But charging $3 for an app with this functionality is frankly short sided on someones part…I’m guessing some greedy executive. I’m an executive, and I know how it all works. Trying to force everyone to the mobile app, so charge for what you “don’t” want people to use, or you see low volume. It’s a simple Utility App, don’t let it ruin a great reputation folks! Show more

    why the cost?
As if the headphones aren’t costly enough?

    Overall good app
Brings a lot of the functionality that you buy Zik headphones for to your Mac. Only two things separating this from 5 stars. First is that the app has to be running in the dock for the icon to appear in the menu bar. Most of the time I just want to quickly know the percentage of charge of the headphones. The additional options when you tap on the menu bar make it so you don’t really need to run it in the dock. Second is that the actual app can only be full size and take most of the screen or basic small style. It’d be preferable if you could resize it with the mouse like just about any other app. Having a smaller style for basic info is fine, and a nice option, but those being the only two sizes are not. Overall a good app and I’d recommend it to anyone with Zik headphones and a Mac, but it really should be able to have a standalone icon (like a lot of other apps) in the menu bar and not have to have it constantly running in the dock. Really? no value add.
A slighly slimmer version version of the iPhone app, which is included with purchase of your $400 headphones. It’s kind of a nifty App. It looks like an early test version of the iphone app. I wouldn’t recomend this. I’d like it if it were free. If Parrot said pay a lot of money for our headphones, that are really awesome! And you’ll get these neat apps for your mac and iphone! I’d be excited. The App license is mine now, so I’ll go to the pro-equalizer and really dial in the sound I want…Oh wait, can’t do that, this $3 app does not include that free iphone app feature. Sweet app, bro. Just What I Needed
I use my Zik IIs just about exclusively with my MacBook. Akin to ‘range anxiety’ with electric vehicles I’m always worred about what the charge level is on them during the day. NOW I can finally check it without having to pair it back to my iPhone or iPad and back to my laptop. Looks like it gives me access to most of the other features that I would use most of the time from the mobile app. For me the charge status would have been enough. Thanks! Show more

    Great option for the Mac
This seems to work as well as the iPhone app. I was able to use it change the noise cancelling level without issue. It’s nice to no have to connect back to the iphone to make changes. Show more

Good App for those with a Zik
Using this with my MacBook Pro 13 early 2015 with Yosemite 10.11.2 and it works very well. Most of the functions available on the iOS app are here too. At least the most important. Most handy feature is being able to see the battery percentage. For three dollars its a good app. Only gripe is that it wastes desktop space. Would give it a 5 star rating if it didn’t take so much space. Possible feature enhacnements would be: 1st have it remember the window size and position. Every time it opens it goes to the center of the screen and resets the size. 2nd, have a condenced window that just shows the percentage. There is no need to have dedicated buttons on the main window for Noise Control, Concert Hall and Equalizer. When enlarged its cool to see these but not necessary 100% of the time. 3rd, option to show an icon in the top of the screen next to the date, time battery, etc.. This icon should show the battery percentage. 4th convert it to be a noticacation widget. Again no need to keep it open all the time just to see the battery and this app seems much more useful if it was in the notification panel. Show more

    Very limited functionality.
Downloaded this app to use on my MacBook Pro. The app isn’t the same as shown and has very limited functionality. It also won’t update from the app store. One star until issues are addressed. The app unusable in its current form. Show more
