I found out about this app through the Edition Peters official website and I immediately downloaded it. I’m happy with the availability of urtext content in the app, as well as other music books. The page-turning function is a big plus. It is a bit buggy, especially if you are just learning a piece, but most of the time it works. Top of mind, my rating would go higher if the developers would improve/add the following: 1. Have midi capability - many piano apps have this function, so I’m wondering why Tido doesn’t have this yet. Not everyone can use their mics for practicing. Some who own digital pianos like myself sometimes practice in the evenings. So, most of the time, we are wearing headphones to be quiet. Having midi support would greatly help a lot. 2. PC-support for page-turning. Sometimes, I don’t want to use my iPad for score reading. Show PC users some love and please release a support for page-turning. 3. I just saw that the app was last updated a year ago. Why so long? It doesn’t look good when updates to the app have been over a year ago, because it may seem that the developers have abandoned the app. Even the official FB page has not been updated a long time - with a comment that they will be focusing on product development. But it’s been over a year. What ever happened to that? 4. Ability to create set lists. It’s such a hassle to be switching from one music sheet to another. An example is Six Écossaises by Beethoven. It’s in 6 separate pieces, which I would like to combine to make a set list, as I will be practicing and playing al 6 dances. 5. I’ve been trying to get in the app, it keeps saying it sent an email to my email box to reset the password, I keep not receiving it, and their help center seems to no longer exist. They’re still withdrawing money from my account. This is my last recourse before I call the bank to stop payment Show more

I have been teaching for 33 years and technology has made it much more interesting. Tido has a great selection of music. The shaded scroll bar makes it very easy for students to watch the notes as the piece is played. And having the analysis with comments by another musician is another addition that enhances our lesson. Thanks for making such an amazing education app for a very reasonable price too. I am a classical pianist and am very happy with TIDO’s auto page turn function—It is quite accurate and respond to the sound quickly. I want to perform with this app on the stage IF there is a compiling movements function. Right now, all the movements and individual variations are recognized as a separate file. If I want to play the entire piece, I have to manually escape from the current screen and find the next movement (or variation)...and press ‘open’...and press ‘auto page turn’ option...and press ‘on/off’ function—I have to do this steps for every single movement. When I play Bach’s Goldberg Variation, I have to manually going back and forth 31 times to find next variation. It was a joke lol. I would definitely want to pay monthly dues if the app has compiling movement function! Also, can you add more repertoires? I am currently working on Chopin’s Barcarolle. I want to play this piece with TIDO app (Since this piece only has a single movement, I don’t have to find a next movement!!). Show more

I got this app and within ten minutes deleted it. First off the user interface is glitchy and took a good two minutes to load and then crash. I have tried multiple times to load any of the pages and it just keeps crashing the app. Serious bug fixes needed for the iPad Pro. Show more

I have been using this for only a couple of minutes and already love it but it just needs some more bug fixes and it will be perfect

If you are US subscriber can't access Popular music. Not very smart of publisher. Should refund my account every month until this is changed.

Love this app - and use it every day. However, I've noticed some issues after the last update: the app stops playing when the iPad becomes inactive (didn't happen before), and the buttons in the app have become less responsive. (iPad Pro) Show more

If you want to keep from practicing errors all week TIDO let's you hear the music measure by measure. No more practicing wrong all week. It's like a teacher with you every day. The page turning allows you to focus on the music. I'm hooked and I believe you will be too. It has lots more features, check them out. Show more
