    5 stars for this app
So far this is the best app I used, keep up the good work and upgrades .

    Love it But…
I would really appreciate being able to “like” certain chord voicings so that I may reference them more quickly as there are so many to go through. this is not a complaint but a suggestion in hopes of a feature I would find very helpful. Thank you Show more

As simple or comprehensive as you want
Fantastic app!! I really like the ability to set it up as simple as possible, particularly when starting out, but then have the option to widen the chord options to an amazing 100k! My only wish is that there was a way to “bookmark” chords that become our go-to chords for quick access. Somehow be able to filter out only the ones we’ve selected for practice and such would be a home run. Otherwise, excellent job! Show more

This app is very practical and a great reference! I used to have this huge book that wasn’t even as thorough and comprehensive. I highly recommend this app.

    Great UX, comprehensive library
I have only used the free version of this app so far, and I am impressed. For free, you get many voicing of all the chords you will commonly find in music of most genres. The interface is deceptively simple in the way you only see when the developer has put a lot of work into clarifying it. You can see the notes of the chords as frets, pitches, or intervals. You can hear the notes as a chord or an arpeggio. You can cycle through chord variants in a very logical way. It’s really nice. Some reviews have commented on the price of upgrades, but seriously :) You get a very useful app for free, and the devs deserve to be paid for their work. They aren’t going to make nearly as many sales as a “$0.99 gem pack” in a freemium game would, so they have to charge more. Make your own cost / benefit decision. Time for the crazy wish list part of the review! Support for alternate tunings and capos would be nice. It would be amazing to be able to pick a key and see the notes of a given chord as intervals relative to the key. Scales and arpeggios would be amazing, but might need a new app. Another killer feature would be finding chords that are easy to move between. Something like, “What is the G variant most similar to this particular C variant?” Another idea is to pick chords into a progression, and then play them in a loop, or with a metronome. Thanks for the great app! Show more

    Paid to unlock, still waiting
Paid to unlock the frets, almost a week ago. Hasn’t unlocked, hasn’t posted my previous review, hasn’t contacted me about a refund, or solving the problem. DON’T SPEND ANY NONEY ON THIS APP!!!!!!!! Show more

    Perfect!
I wish I had this app when I was learning years ago but it is so well made and a great tool for teaching, learning, and growing as a guitar player. This app is perfect! Show more

    Just what I needed!
Super helpful and really beautiful app! Who knew there were so many ways to play a C chord?

    SCAM! Beware!
This app is a complete and total rip off. It charges you 10 bucks to "unlock" 9th chords etc..Ok, overpriced but OK. THEN After that, you try to move the chord up the neck and I don't know that's another $7.99 to "unlock the neck." this is absolute highway robbery. Absolutely ridiculous no reason to do it whatsoever. Just stay away from this ripoff!! Show more

Guitar chord dictionary tool box is amazing
This is awesome. Shows the different inversions of chords. One drawback is that it does not show the fingering for chords, but it is relatively easy to figure out the fingering. Getting the additional feature of seeing extensions is pretty costly, it with any good software, there is a price associated with quality. Everything considered, it is worth it and if the cost of buying the extensions is too much, a google search should produce the same results. Show more

    Simply the Best
This is by far the best guitarist’s chord dictionary out there. It’s so comprehensive that’s it’s truly mind boggling. It is the ideal companion for everyone, beginner to seasoned master. Congrats! Show more

    It’s not $2.99
If you want to see all the chords it forces you to pay much more, too expensive, $2.99 should be total. How do I get the free version ?

    Superb Functionality and Content
Wow! Best new app I’ve tried in forever. So fun to move between different chords and inversions so easily and hear them out loud at the same time. Great for adding vocabulary but also just exploring new harmonic ideas. I also love that I can seamlessly format the chords for bass as well. Five stars! Show more

    Limited to drop-2 chord voicings
The app only addresses drop-3 chord voicings. The app is otherwise very well executed, but that limitation cripples it. Drop-2 voicings (e.g., R 7 3 5) must be included if you want 4-5 stars. Drop 2&4 voicings (e.g., R 5 3 7) would be nice to have as well, but are not as important as the other voicings. Show more

    VERY thorough and applicable app
Ever inversion, voicing, and fingering for any chord you can think of. I am a bass player and can use the first 4 string setting to figure out voicings and arpeggios for my instrument. Extremely helpful. Show more
