    Setup failed
    Same comments as all others....a circle of setup failures. Bluetooth and airplay connectivity is fine but Alexa is a myth.

    Not Worth The Headache
    Setup is not smooth and customer service is not helpful. Airplay doesn’t work and consistently asks for a code so you are not able to use it. Great sound quality horrible app and customer service. Show more

    Disgraceful app, not worth the headache.
    The speaker itself cranks, but it's impossible to connect to the internet and even worse getting it to connect to Alexa. I expect so much better from Marshall. I got it working for a while, but then I moved to a new place and spent multiple hours tearing my hair out and wanted to throw it out a window. Had I known it would be this tedious and frustrating I would not have bought this product. Buyer beware. Show more

    Constantly disconnects from Wifi
    Have to add speaker back to network at least 3 times a week. Worked fine for over a year and lately it just disconnects.

    Software Can’t find speaker
    All of a sudden, the Marshall Voice app is saying there is no speaker connected in order to change EQ settings. Even tho, my iPhone 12 Pro is connected to it via Bluetooth and playing music. Idk how companies can mess their software up this bad but never had an issue before. Fix it Marshall Show more

    Faulty and outdated
    Crappy app renders Alexa useless - went through the whole troubleshooting process with customer service and Uxbridge speaker is unable to connect to wifi. Errors out every time, even with the alternative setup method. Show more

    Terrible Setup
    Can’t connect to Alexa, Alexa doesn’t even have a listing for Marshall much less the Stanmore. Useless. Thank goodness for Free Returns!!!

    Extremely trash
    There’s gotta be a reason why this app has such horrible ratings. It doesn’t work at all and I can’t connect this to Wi-Fi.Does this company not monitor ratings at all? Extremely disappointed by the quality. Show more

    Does NOT work with Google Assistant version
    The app is totally useless if you have the Google version. It cannot connect to the speaker and there’s no way to make it multi-room!

    Impressive and no problems
    Not sure why all the bad reviews. Mine connected quickly and elegantly. Sounds great!

    Terrible
    Miserable experience with this app. Unable to connect with Alexa, fails to recognize device if it’s unplugged/plugged back in, overall terrible layout. I wanted so badly for the Uxbridge to work out due to its sleek appearance, but I’ll have to return it since it’s built upon this terrible app that can’t seem to support it. Show more

    This app is horrendous
    The app is not user friendly, it is cumbersome and constantly asks to reactivate. The pairing with Alexa is also a nightmare. The only redeeming quality is the speaker sounds good. It should come with a remote to adjust volume and use the features. One shouldn’t have to have the app to use this speaker. Show more

    Disconnection
    The app is telling me to keep my device near the speaker in order to pair when it’s literally inches away. I paid a lot of money for an app that keeps shutting down and disconnecting. Super frustrated, please please fix this!! Show more

    Marshall Acton 2 Alexa
    Keep saying Setup Failed - keep device close to the speaker - when come to the Wifi screen to enter the password. I literally next to the device and not even able to type anything. Contact supporter for help but its still didnt work. Show more

    Not working
    This app is just not working: keeps saying keep your phone close to the device. I’m right next to it!!! How do I set up this thing then??

    Terrible!!! Had higher expectations!
    I had much higher expectations for a speaker in this price range. Apparently aesthetics are prioritized over functionality. Can’t connect to WiFi - I get an error saying I need to keep my phone nearby and it’s literally sitting on the speaker. There should be more than one way to set this up. I’m returning my Marshall Acton II and will probably never buy another product from them again. If this is indicative of the quality they put I to their products then I definitely don’t want to give them my money. I’ve had products I’ve bought from cheap Chinese companies perform better with crappy looking apps. Show more

    Cant even open the app
    I used 3 different devices, but the app always stayed in the screen that asks me to accept the terms and condition, but it never change no matter what I press Show more

    It is not work with Stanmore II with Google Voice built in
    I connected to Stanmore wifi, but when I go back to the app, they still not recognized the Stanmore speaker. I tried many times and no hope with this app. Therefore, I had to set up with Google home app. I hope the development team will fix it soon! Show more

    Unusable
    It took me 30 minutes to try to set it up. The app is slow, clunky, and I can’t even get it to work.

    No google version support
    No support for acton 2 voice with google assistant and never expected. That’s what the customer service told me. Maybe develop an app for google assistant version???
